Delightful Slice of Heaven:
Let me start by professing my undying love for pizza; it's a passionate affair. This particular pizzeria, I must admit, has me hooked on their pizza – it's that good! And trust me when I say, I haven't dared to venture beyond their scrumptious pepperoni slice. Yes, I said "slice," but don't let that fool you; one slice is all you need. They cleverly serve it as two slices fused together, cut into four perfect pieces. If pizza's your love language, this is the place to be, either for dine-in or delivery.
However, my enthusiasm wanes when it comes to rating this establishment, and here's why: their customer service leaves much to be desired. The staff appears less than thrilled to be working here, and their demeanor towards customers can be quite frosty. I've even been scolded for the simple act of not disposing of my napkin in the trash bin; instead, I left it neatly on the pizza tray, hoping to save them the trouble of collecting it.
To add a sprinkle of disappointment to the experience, they impose a 3% fee for credit card payments. I understand they incur charges, but it's disheartening to see this fee slapped on. It's a practice that's become all too common, where everyone seems to be passing on these costs to customers instead of incorporating them into their prices. What's more perplexing is that even when I pay in cash, I've still found myself saddled with the credit card fee. It appears they might be a bit uncertain about reversing the charge.
Now, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt – perhaps the staff's attitude stems from being short-staffed. On one occasion, I observed ten people walk in, and it appeared that only one brave soul was holding down the fort. I'd kindly urge them to consider hiring some extra hands.
In summary, if you're on a quest for pizza perfection, this place is worth a visit. Just don't expect a warm welcome, and if you're planning to pay in cash, do remember to mention it in advance to...
Read moremoved to the neighborhood recently, and closest pizza joint. went there several times, as the owner was nice and would always rave about how the ingredients were fresh and the pizza was the best we would find. quickly realized it was just not very good. went in tonight for a jumbo cheese slice of pizza. cashier was hitting on a drunk girl as i walked in, and took probably 15 seconds to acknowledge me. put the order in, and he went back to hitting on her (i was the only other person inside). she walked out once she got her pizza, and he commented to me on how he "had no chance" with her. flash forward to the 7 minutes to me getting my pizza. walk back to my house, open it, and see half the crust is ripped off (picture uploaded on yelp). i call them, and am immediately put on hold (understandable, late night). when he picks up, i tell him that half my crust is ripped off and he asks if i want to order another slice. i tell him again, and after a failure to communicate i hang up in defeat and give up. they call back, and he asks me if i had a problem with the slice (I'm a little impressed with that). i tell him i am coming over, and walk back to the pizzolis. they already have another slice ready for me, and he half asses apologized for the mistake and seemed annoyed that i came back and was taking up his time. they blame it on the pizza getting caught in the oven, but you be the judge (picture uploaded on yelp). as soon as i had my hand on the box he went back to talking to his friends in the store. i threw out their replacement slice (for fear of "waiting" type things on the slice) and...
Read moreI have been walking for miles and walked an extra mile to come to this exact spot for some relief. I ordered a portabella mushroom pizza slice, 5 bone in wings, a slice of chocolate cake and a diet coke - total of $34.12 with an added tip of $5 I spent $39.12
They charge you an extra credit card fee without informing you with a sign or by word of mouth. They advertise $8.99 for 5 wings but actually charged me $9.99. The cook intentionally gave me the poorest quality of food burning my pizza and giving me hours old chicken.
He didnt think I was going to eat at the restaurant and when I realized the intentional poor quality of my food I asked for my money back but he kept insisting for me to have him remake my food but I demanded my money back after I lost my appetite. He had the audacity to crumble up a dollar after I gave him more money for the way he was treating me. I realized then that the money was no worth the hassle and so I walked out with my chocolate cake and diet coke. Of all the places I’ve been to I’ve never experienced this poor quality of food and interaction. I feel compassion for a person’s ego who is probably already struggling financially but curses his own-self by crumbling up the money I tipped him. I pray for this person. All I wanted was some relief and...
