Went out to Port Angeles to get away from the city for a bit and found this place around where we were. At first the location had me thinking I may be a bit out of place, but the staff was quite friendly as well as the other customers (many of whom seemed to be regulars) and the food was great!
I got an Eggs Benedict and my partner got two pancakes and eggs. I got to try both and I gotta say; you don't want to miss out on how fluffy this pancake is. You can't get quality like this anymore it seems and it was a really good find for sure. The eggs Benedict is definitely up there on my favorites as well.
The atmosphere is mostly decorated with older style automobiles. It was a style reminiscent of diners like this but at the same time a dying breed of restaurant that I was happy to be able to find once again.
If you're in the area as a local or going out for a vacation , you'll definitely feel at home here and it'll be the best start to your day for sure. I'll be back if I'm up around...

I requested ahead of time (I'd never been there & didnt know the Menu) by asking for either a Salad or a plant based Burger (often called an "Impossible Burger"), if they had one. They did not. Our waitress, whom I suspect is Priscilla; was a total crack-up and a "I call the shots!" kind of gal. She was great and ran her legs off! They only serve Breakfast & Lunch so dont plan on dinner but you'll have your fill with whatever you order. Since it shares the building with a huge (used to be Mark-It Foods) car restoration/repair business be sure you take time to look at all of the Memorabilia on the walls and displayed randomly thruout the little Restaurant. It's a lifetime collection that could easily be called an...
Read moreSo I got a job cooking here. Let me tell you, after working food for over 30 years it was refreshing to work in a kitchen where home made real food is an absolute staple. The portions are big and everything is fresh always. Nothing is leftover. Made fresh every time. Top tier place for breakfast and lunch. Their sandwiches are classic Americana like the good old days. I haven't seen a monte Cristo sandwich in years, yet it's on the menu. The roast beef is prime rib not just top round. They are all classics. And the omelets and eggs are French style on a flat grill not done in a pan. There is a certain level of skill needed to make omelets this way, and they turn out perfect. Home made hashbrowns and fries are unbeatable. This place needs to be on your list of places to try. You won't be...
