TLDR: Food and service are ok at best.

I ordered fried chicken tacos, I discovered at home the tacos were made with fried fish instead. Drove back and they happily remade the tacos, but were reluctant about trying to compensate me for the wrong food and the two drives it took for me to go up there and back home a second time. I called before I went and was told by the MANAGER who wasn’t working to ask and they’ll give me a free dessert or appetizer. I finally got my food and a small piece of cake as compensation and drumrollll the tacos were very mid. The chicken was dry and clearly unseasoned, just battered and fried. I expected more because of the ratings, but there’s nothing special or magnificent about this place. The tacos weren’t nasty, but I can’t really say I enjoyed them either. The Oreo cake was nasty, overall a...

With many experiences of Korean taco fusions, I was simply not impressed.

I ordered three tacos, two chickens and a beef on corn flour tacos. The pork was not available to us at the time. The flavor of both beef and chicken tasted the same, it left my palate with a bitter taste in my mouth. The texture of the beef was dry and salty. The chicken however was juicy and tender.

The cole slaw wasn't anything to rave about, it's made "Korean style". So does that mean a little bit of gochujang sauce makes something Korean?

The service was speedy and efficient. The person serving me was clear and concise on the prices and what they served.

Overall, my meal lacked flavor. I hope they can make the small adjustments on their flavoring. It'll go a long...

The food here does not at all taste Korean. The "kimchi" is awful and doesn't resemble actual kimchi in the least; the bulgogi is also unrecognizable. Most of all, however, I hate the stinginess of this place; each portion is measured out just so (meat is given in ok quantities but the "slaw" bowl is very light on slaw) - and, there are barely any toppings (a couple sauces, sesame seeds, and cilantro). They're even stingy with the cilantro - usually they give out like 5-6 small leaves and that's it. Whenever I ask for "a little more cilantro", I get maybe a couple extra small leaves - and a "look". I do like the chicken here enough, but I've resorted to always taking it home so I can dress it in adequate amounts of...

Stopped by on a very busy Saturday afternoon (Dec 23) and Edwin gave great advice and customer service. He suggested I get the three taco combo. Be sure and ask the server for TaKorean's flavor picks! They've got killer combos ready. I savored three soft corn tacos, each loaded with different meat + slaw options. Topped 'em off with lime crema, Korean-style salsa roja, and sesame seeds. My fav was the pork and kale slaw. All three were delicious, but that one was my top choice. The flavors were very distinct. Next time we go to Union Market I’ll encourage the family to try it. We will be back.

This place is not good. It was a huge disappointment. Service was slow and rude. I ordered a slaw bowl and they barely put any slaw in my bowl. I got two spoons of the kale slaw and the Romaine one (for which I paid extra). In the middle of the ordering process, the guy just left me waiting and came back 5 minutes later just to ask me if “I was done” instead of keep offering me the other toppings. Service was terrible, portions were really small, and taste was mediocre. I usually write very positive reviews, but I couldn’t find any positive thing about this place
