It has been a very LONG time since I dined at the Yacht Club Broiler. Back in the day, early 1990's I wasn't super impressed by the food or the prices. Recently my husband and I celebrated my birthday by having dinner there, why not, I am sure a lot of things have changed; and it did, for the better at least taste-wise. Prices, well a tad on the higher side for the amount you get, we looked at it this way; the view was excellent! We started with Clams as an appetizer, and I'm sad to say I did not take a picture of those. But for fifteen dollars that was by far the best dish of the night, there were plenty of the tasty little guys! My husband ordered a bloody mary and stated the drink was impressive. I am moving on to our main meals. I decided on the Hazelnut Chicken, grilled with roasted hazelnuts in a sweet sauce called Maderia. I had to look that one up myself, not knowing what Maderia is. It is a fortified wine from Portugal. Apparently, it is mixed with some spirits to increase alcohol content. My dinner came with wild rice, two pieces of chicken breast, I could not tell if it was one large piece cut in half or two separate chicken breast; and a few asparagus. My husband decided on the Chicken Prosciutto roasted with asiago cheese and green peppercorn sauce, rice and asparagus as well. He enjoyed his dinner ok but stated he would never order it again. I took a bite of his and felt mine was a lot better; overall, both dishes were good but not exceptional. The server was friendly enough; again, not a terrible server, but she wasn't exceptional either. I had to ask her twice for two lemon slices, and after the second time of asking, and then waiting until my dinner was half-finished, she brought me one slice. The view from the restaurant is lovely. We had a storm moving in, so the water in Dyes inlet was choppy, and for a couple of minutes, the sun beamed through some extremely black cumulus clouds and bounced off the water causing a sparkling effect. On more delightful days I am sure a lot of people take the opportunity and sit outside, although there was a table with five people sitting outside our window looking as though they were freezing to death. The overall appearance of the restaurant is slightly dated inside, but I feel some of it is in character with the "boating/marina" feel. There were a lot of cobwebs in the top corner of the shades though. The Yacht Club Broilers location is in old town Silverdale, on the water. 9226 Bayshore Drive, Silverdale. The restaurant shares parking with several other small businesses so that I imagine parking can be a bit of a hassle, especially during lunch hours. The parking spaces are tight as well. Overall I probably won't be rushing back there anytime soon, but if you haven't tried it, go for the drinks and the view!

The atmosphere is welcoming and pleasant with a beautiful view. You can choose to dine inside or outside on a gorgeous patio. This is the perfect location for brunch, dinner and/or romantic evening. the service is bar none! The servers are attentive, respectful and polite. I received my order within 10min of ordering on a semi busy evening. I had the calamari which is obviously freshly made, followed by the Cajun style fish n chips per the server's recommendation. I could not hope for anything better. I am incredibly impressed with the fish n chips! The fish is meaty and unlike the overly doey beer batter style fish n chips, this fish is breaded and fried in a pleasantly light and crispy breading, served with coleslaw cocktail sauce and tartar sauce. This is now my favorite place to get fish n chips in Kitsap County! Whether you're feeling just a bit peckish, looking for a high quality dinner or looking to share the evening for a romantic occasion, this should certainly be at the top of your list!

My Husband and I stayed in Seabeck for a few days to celebrate our anniversary. It's our last day visiting and it's such a beautiful day so we googled "outdoor dining". It was suggested we go to Yacht Club Broiler. We arrived around 2 PM and were seated right away. Our sever Mindi greeted us in less than 1 mintue. The view of the water and surrounding area really set a peaceful atmosphere. We ordered Onion rings and half caesar salad to share together. My husband ordered a Club Sandwich and I ordered the Fish Tacos. The onion rings were the best we've ever had in a restaurant. Same with the caesar salad. So fresh and so good! Great food and service!!! Our server was all around happy! So kind and positive to other customers. THANK YOU MINDI for your awesome customer service!!! You rock!!!!!!!!

Been here twice now. The first time, I got the Fish and Chips. The cod tasted frozen, and it had this horrible muddy flavor to it that I've only gotten from cheap places before. For nearly 30 dollars this is unacceptable! The chips were good.

I also tried the salmon since someone else I was with got the salmon linguine. It was very tough, dry and didn't have much flavor (and yet the muddiness persisted).

So this time I knew to avoid the fish at all costs. I figured I'd just get a cheeseburger. Pretty hard to mess up one of those right? I initially asked for a vegan patty (I'm not vegan, I just love a good veggie burger). I asked if the patty would have whole corn kernels in it, since I very much dislike that. The server said no and that the patties were the Impossible Burger, so I went with that. I had been curious to try those for a while! I also substituted my fries for onion rings.

The food arrives and the first thing I see is a massive yellow corn kernel sticking out of the side of my burger patty like a bad tooth. Not an Impossible Burger at all, just some generic veggie burger patty (probably frozen). I asked them to exchange it for just a regular burger.

While I waited I was eating the onion rings, which tasted alright, but were INCREDIBLY hard. Very doughy as well. The onions inside ranged from good to undercooked / green.

I got my burger after about 20-30 minutes. It was well done and completely flavorless. Calling it underseasoned would be giving it too much credit. Once again, the patty tasted frozen. I get that this is one of the cheapest things on the menu, but if they can't do a cheeseburger right (or cod or salmon) then why on earth would I spend 50 dollars for something more high end?

The burger came with a pickle spear. This was the best thing on my plate. It was a bit squishy though.

Other people I was with had ordered fries, and as before, the fries were very good.

The server was friendly, but that mistake on what was in the veggie burger meant lots of extra waiting time for me. They said people don't order it often. Go figure.

I will make it a point to avoid...

My boyfriend and I went to dinner here expecting a nice evening out. From the hostess stand to leaving we were (almost) nothing but disappointed. The hostess seemed to be training, which was totally fine but she was rude to us and the trainee. We asked the waitress for a few minutes to look over the menu and she came back at least 15 minutes later to ask if we had decided on anything other than water-- we had. We also had to ask if they had any specials which seemed odd. They brought our dinner out before we had finished with our appetizer, which personally drove me crazy. Also, the bussers thought that they were being attentive but it was so awkward to have to say several times that we're still eating and do not need a box. Eventually the waitress brought a box to us (without us asking) and I asked if we were inconveniencing them. She seemed puzzled that I asked so I told her we had said no to a box at least four times before. The evening felt very rushed and we assumed that because it was a "nice" place that we would be able to relax and take our time enjoying the meal. When we had finished eating dinner and they were clearing the table the busser moved a water glass by grabbing it with all the fingers around the rim (from above) which was absolutely disgusting and rude. Needless to say we did not use that glass again. As for the food, it was hit and miss. The tuna was very good, steak was great, the baked potatoes were good. The asparagus was tiny and overcooked. We ate it like spaghetti. The best part about dessert was what was not prepared by the kitchen- the chocolate sauce and whipped cream. We got the creme brulee and chocolate truffle mousse cake, which sounded amazing, but was not at all how you'd imagine. We actually had to send the creme brulee back because it was curdled and separated. When we told the waitress she said "that happens sometimes". She asked if we would like another, and we politely...
