McDonald's — Restaurant in Wasilla

What a tremendous departure from goin to McDonald's in Achorage (I've reserved my review for the A St. locatin for instance for a time when I can piece together a Google-appropriate vocabulary to impart the awful experience I had there that almost ended my visits to McDonald's for life)! The only things that set one franchise apart from another in this business are the staff and the cleanliness of the restaraunt. Here I have found the best of both worlds. The staff are all refreshingly awake, aware, and (be still my heart...) friendly! It might seem like a trivial thing, but to me it is not just important for customer relations, but also indicative of the goings-on in the back-of-house- to see employees who give a little bit extra in the face of enomous rush-hour traffic and masssive orders. In fact, this is one of the best McDonald's I've been to in the 40+ tates I've visited their restaraunts in. I am glad to finally get a review in. Keep up the good work and I'll keep bringing my family there. Your employees deserve every cent of their wage, and my hat's off to them for handling the volume that flows...

I would like to start by saying I don’t expect much from McDonald’s when I come here, that being said, they still managed to disappoint me today. First thing was that we asked for military discount and showed our ID the lady said she would do it, but then gave us our receipt that stated our card was charged for the price they told us at the order screen (so no discount) but whatever we weren’t gonna complain. But then everything that could have went wrong, did… my drink that I asked for no ice, had ice, our mcflurreys were only half full, my burger that I asked for no pickles on, had pickles (got it re made, but then they didn’t put anything on it but sauce) we got a quarter pounder with cheese plain, and they literally put a dry burger patty between some dry buns and didn’t even put the cheese, and they forgot to give us our water we paid for. I also had to ask for my ranch that I ordered because they didn’t give it to me, and then, when they handed me my ranch, one of them was open and splattered all...

So, I've been here a few times, and until tonight, they've been fairly good. I'd say easily 4/5. But it's been awhile since I've been in and tonight was abhorant. tonight, oh no. Tonight, if I could give half a star, or 0 stars even, I would. I went through the drive thru, and orders 2 of the same meal, just different drinks. Same size as well. When I got to the pickup window, I was handed 2 drinks, one was the wrong size, which they corrected, but put the wrong drink in. I got a diet soda, and can taste the difference. I won't drink it. And then I get home, open my dinner and find that my meal, is not what I ordered. And to boot, the receipt they put on the box (I ordered with Ketchup only), shows the wrong burger as well. And if only it got better from there, no. At this point, I'm tired, it's -20, and I don't really want to drive the roads right now, so I figure I'll call. That did not help. They never answered. I stood here for several minutes, and nobody cared to pickup the phone. I...
