Next, I Literally went there for one item. Went through checkout and had a coupon as that one item was about $30 bucks. Scanned the coupon and saw the price changed but once finalized and through, it turns out the coupon did not go through properly ? At that point, I had ripped it in half and tossed it. Notified the girl at the self checkout and she sent me to Customer service. Before I went up to C.S., I got the majority of the coupon out the garbage as more than half the barcode was visible and clear that I had some form of coupon for this item. Waited in the customer service line just for the lady to off the bat say that she couldnāt do anything with that and that was that and proceeded to call the next person. I understand that the coupon was ripped a bit in the barcode and physically deemed un-useable but to not even look in the system etc. seeing that I had form of proof for the slightest of coupon is crazy to me . Ā Ā Ā Read moreToday was my first time back inside BJ's Watchung since the pandemic began last year. Nothing has changed. This store still has the worst customer service of any store I shop at. I had some problems checking out so I called over to the front-of-the-store person who is there to help customers. She just ignored me and walked away. Another employee who seemed to be on a break called over to her and asked her to help me, but she said she was busy. At this point she was having a conversation with another employee so I guess she thought it was okay to ignore a paying customer. She never came back to help. I eventually figured out what the issue was and resolved it myself. Oh, and to top it off, she was wearing a face mask, but not covering her nose. The person I am referring to is the tall woman who has been there for years and whose job appears to be customer service at the registers. Maybe someone needs to explain to her what customer service means and how to wear...
