Los Dos Potrillos — Restaurant in Watsonville

I tried this place the first day it opened for take out and I was disappointed with the taste. The location in salinas tastes way better. We decided to dine in this past Sunday and I got the same item, it still wasn’t the greatest (but it did get a little better).

The service was also very slow. I understand thats it’s busy for a Sunday, but having to waiting 30+min for someone to get our drinks/food order seems unorganized.

Then my drink came out and there was a hair inside it. I let them know and they kindly replaced the drink for me, but this made my experience less enjoyable.

save your receipt. food was 8/10. my rice came with a piece of plastic which the waitress was happy to replace. At the end my tab came out to 60.88 and we left a $10 cash tip. apparently that wasn't enough because someone added 18%- 20% tip to my tab after we left the restaurant. my card ended up being charged $72.88. sooo make sure your receipt and card bill matchh. After a week the restaurant was able to help me out but I have a feeling this might not be the first or last time this happens. Make sure if you leave a cash tip to write " $0" on the tip line...

I've been here 3 times and the service hasn't improved, when you order food they take long, and when you ask for side dishes or chips with salsa they take long. Maybe they need to retrain the waitress or hire more if it's overwhelming for them and pay them better. I tip according to the service I receive. The food is great one of a kind.
