If I could give zero stars, I would. This was hands down one of the worst fast food experiences I’ve ever had and it just so happened to be my first time ever visiting this Taco Bell. Safe to say it will also be my last.
I showed up expecting a quick bite and ended up wasting over an hour of my time. The place wasn’t even packed, but the staff moved like they were in slow motion — absolutely no sense of urgency whatsoever. I waited and waited, only to get handed an order that was completely wrong. Not even close to what I asked for.
When I politely pointed it out, instead of fixing the issue or offering a basic apology, I was met with rude attitudes and eye rolls like I was the problem for expecting the food I actually ordered. No one seemed to care. The workers were clearly just there to stand around and do the bare minimum. Lazy, unprofessional, and totally checked out.
What really got me was the complete lack of customer service. Not a single person apologized for the wait, the mistake, or the inconvenience. No one tried to make it right. Just a bunch of annoyed looks and half-hearted responses like they couldn’t be bothered.
For a first-time customer, this was beyond disappointing. I get that things can go wrong sometimes, but the way the staff handled it was unacceptable. If this is how they treat customers, I honestly don’t know how this place stays open.
Do yourself a favor and skip this location. There are plenty of other places to eat that at least pretend to care about...
Read moreHello, I want to share my feedback about the current staff at Taco Bell located at 2780 Belvidere Rd, Waukegan, IL. I feel it's important to give an honest review because I've noticed some issues with the poor customer service skills of most of the staff. I'm concerned whether the employees receive proper safety regulations and customer service training during their time at this Taco Bell. I've only been to this Taco Bell twice, and both times have been disappointing. The staff seems rushed, doesn't greet customers, and I couldn't help to noticed them listening to music on a speaker next to the window. On my second visit, I went with my husband and kids and ordered two quesadillas. After ordering a set of large fries I asked if he can turn the quesadillas into a meal please. He genuinely got irritated and told me that next time I go there I have to say that ahead of time… Honestly, this upsets me even more just at the thought of someone with anxiety or a speech disability coming here. I think patience and actually love in customers/ people should be what an owner looks for in an employee. And this Taco Bell doesn’t represent that. I will not come here again and for what’s it worth I have other available Taco Bell locations near me who are kind and actually contain those skills an employee should have. But this should get...
Read moreThe good (most recent): I went here, reluctantly, and ordered my family's food: easy. Also, did you know you can pay extra to substitute taco meat for chicken? Then came my food and I have celiac disease. Well, this time they almost got it right. But, when I pointed out the problem, the drive thru guy and his team fixed it with a 🙂.
The bad (last visit, cause for reluctancy) I went there, ordered just the chicken power bowl. Because of my celiac, I asked to remove rice, beans and add chicken. Then put the cheese and sour cream on the side for my kids. They didn't get the order right and my husband checked right away. The lady stood at the window with her hand it and proceeded to stare at my husband while he's gesturing and mouthing to her. After about a minute, she opens the window and he explains about the cheese and she snatches the container from him while smacking her lips. So, I tell him, I don't want the food because I didn't like or trust her attitude towards us, as if we were wrong for asking them to correct...
