Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Waukegan

I called this particular Pizza hut on Belvedere Rd in Waukegan Il. to order a pizza for delivery at 7:15pm on a Saturday. I waited an hour and 30 mins to call and check on my pizza wondering why they were taking so long to deliver and kept getting the order guy who wasn't even in the store. The order guy kept connecting me to the in store line who weren't answering their phones at all the phones kept ringing. I had called back 3 different times and still wasn't getting an answer. Then finally my husband called and got the order guy again and told him he wanted to deal with him since the in store workers wasn't answering their phones, and because the order guy was the person who took the order and the payment for the pizza in the first place. The order guy told my husband he had to deal with the in store ppl because once the transaction goes through it was out of his hands. So here again my husband called back 3 times as well and there was still no answer. So by this time my husband and I are both heated. I wait another 10 mins to call back and now we are almost 2 hours in, waiting for a pizza to be delivered. I finally get a young lady to answers the phone and says to me, "oh, I was just about to call you and tell you it's going to be another 30 min wait on your pizza because our delivery driver canceled on us and we have to wait until our other driver comes." So I say to her, "so you're going to send me a pizza that's been sitting up for almost 2 hours and then you think I'm going to wait another 30 mins for a driver?!?! She said yes ma'am! So I told her to cancel the order & before I could finish my statement she said "OK ma'am, have a good day" & hung the phone up. My husband had to drive up to the store and get them to put our money back on the card. She never apologized, never tried to compensate or make things right. And ain't no way in hell I will ever order anything else from them again. I went here to pick up an uber eats order for someone. The order was not ready, so I asked if I can use the restroom & the guy said " they locked it" I ask "oh are you closing soon?" He replied "nope". I asked " Then why are bathrooms closed?" He replies " I dont know!!" While still waiting on the order I see a young woman cleaning a table in the dining room. I asked her if there was a manager & she said she was the manager. So I ask why bathrooms locked & she says " Customers were trashing it so it only for employees now!!! Umm its a law to have restrooms in a restaurant & this one does have a dining room, not just take out. I said " well im not going to trash your bathroom" she says " We no longer let customers use them!!" And she was unbelievably rude. I said well maybe you should've had the order ready & I wouldn't have had to wait while having to pee!! Its Friday so I was very busy & went to bunches of restaurants & every single place had orders ready, this was the ONLY location that did not. I dont mind waiting, but have a bathroom available! This Pizza Hut is amazing! We ordered online during their busiest time, the pizza was ready in 20min. It was delicious! Pan with garlic crust, generous toppings, lots of cheese. They didn't slap it together quickly, or minimize toppings because it was an online special. When my friend got to Pizza Hut to pick up our pizza, he said the place was packed with pickups, one guy alone ordered 9 pizzas, he said the delivery drivers vehicles were packed. My friend said, the staff was polite, attentive, and quick, no one seemed to be overwhelmed, yet they were putting out pizza like they were Santa's Elves on Christmas Eve. This crew is amazing, their District and Store Managers should be proud of the excellence their employees strive for. If anyone gives this place less than 5 stars, than just be glad your not grumpy like them. Thank you for a great pizza on a cold and snowy April evening. You guys are awesome!!!!
