U get what u pay for, cheap food, affordable but cafeteria like, service is ok.

To reply to owner, I understand any place can have good days and bad. I've been there aprox 5 times, in a 3 month period. We travel a lot do to work and we rely on restaurants like yours for the home cooked meal (feel), the staff are ok, I understand it can get busy, but the coffee is very weak, and the Sunday we went there for brunch the staff was not attentive, she gave us salad with icky stuff In it as if it was pre-used, when we told the young waitress, she had an attitude for having to change it and I believe all she did was change the plate not the salad, it was old. Also the silverware was dirty and we had to request clean ones and the food Jst wasn't what we expected and it took very long for us just to get salt. On the week days, the owner has been there, he is is always polite but the food we ordered was the special of the day which was ribs and chicken and it just tasted old and reheated. I have also called to confirm restaurant times since many restaurants changed times due to covid-19 and lady was abrubt and rude on the phone. Ordered a vegetarian skillet from this restaurant through Uber eats. The skillet was advertised to come with eggs, cheese, spinach, tomatoes, and mushrooms. I wanted modifications to my skillet so I contacted the restaurant to inform them that I wanted this skillet with no eggs, cheese, and mushrooms, but would like green peppers, onions, and broccoli. I was informed by a woman named Helen, who also claimed to be a manager, that I could replaced those items but I would be charged for each additional item. I agreed. When I received my order, the skillet ONLY contained potatoes, onions, broccoli AND small pieces of MEAT! I contacted the restaurant to speak with Helen and in a sarcastic and condescending way she told me she checked my order herself and it indeed contained all of the ingredients. I was completely insulted as I was sitting with the bare meat filled skillet in front of me with none of the ordered ingredients. The server didn't really seem to care for her job, she was curt and even though we asked for no onions on one of our items, it had onions mixed all into it. We had waited 40 minutes for our food and didnt want to wait any longer so she just needed up only eating the filling on gyro and not the bread as it had onions all over it. I ordered my burger medium and it was well done. I had asked if they used sweet baby rays before ordering it and she said yes but when I got it it was some sort of smoky hickory bbq which I do not like. When i asked her about it she said "it is what it is" and shrugged, so she lied. We mentioned we were there for a birthday and she said "don't even bother with the dessert we don't have any and usually we'd comp something but then I'd have to call my manager as she's not here."
