VERY sadly disappointing!!! I had two other family members each drive 45 minutes one-way to meet me so we could all try this restaurant for the first time. I was encouraged by the high reviews of past patrons, but I'm not sure what earned the high stars. The service was SO SLOW!!! We were the only customers inside initially, so no reason for the snails pace of both our waitress and cooks for refills of drinks, bringing out food, and checking on customers. They really don't write good descriptions of what's IN their food... if you've eaten elsewhere and expect anything resembling what you are used to, forget it! Out of the four of us, only one of us finished most of their meal- chicken fried rice. One person didn't eat theirs AT ALL-- it was supposed to be General Tsao's Chicken (photo below), but it looked and tasted very strange- the sauce seemed to be made of mostly vinegar with a few hot pepper flakes and had many different vegetables we've never experienced other restaurants ever having served in the dish (usually its just broccoli)- when we told our waitress, she simply said "I'm sorry," and walked off. She didn't offer to take it back to the kitchen, replace it with something else, or even remove it from the table since it literally sat UNEATEN. The other two dishes were the orange chicken and the combo lo mein. The orange chicken was mediocre- not terrible, not great. The lo mein was fair, noodles very oily and with virtually no flavor, and nearly all of that left uneaten, too. The dinners came with eggrolls--- its a good thing none of us were allergic to shellfish, because they all had shrimp (again, unadvertised as an ingredient and appreciated by only two of us.) We had to wait quite a while to get our check, and nothing was removed or discounted from the total after our we told the waitress the food didn't taste very good. We literally had nearly two complete, untouched meals, and one half-eaten meal, sitting on the table and the waitress did not even offer to-go boxes. Needless to say, it was a $60 mistake to eat at this restaurant. Save some money and get a much better meal at Panda Express just up the road.

A little disappointed that I drove 20 minutes to find out they're only open for takeout for lunch. The lady taking ordes and cooking was super friendly. Waited 20 minutes for my food. Pan fried noodles, fried rice, egg foo young and egg rolls were all great. Will be back at for dinner so I can dine in.

undercooked doughy dumplings and Curry was filled more with chunks of raw onions and canned mushrooms rather than tofu and chicken. Taste was equally as appetizing it looked Won’t be coming back.

July 2024: Second time ordering from this place and both times were pretty bad. About 2 years ago I was served dry inedible chicken and the portions were way too small for the price. I was served small portions but charged for large portions. Since that happened it took me 2 years to give them a try again. and this time I came across completely different issues. I would change my one star review to a five star if they actually tweaked their recipes. Let me start off by saying the rice is authentic, it's not the plastic rubbery rice that most Chinese restaurants serve, it's legit real rice, and it's made the old fashioned way using bean sprout, scallion, and egg. Bravo for that. It was almost perfect! But whatever oil they use to cook that in it's like glue in my food. And when I stir the rice around I see stringy glue-like fibers. The oil is thick and gross they need to find a different oil to use for their fried rice. And that's the only thing stopping the fried rice from being a five-star dish. Now moving on to the sesame chicken. The sesame chicken has the potential of being perfect but they would need to change two things. For starters, the breading on the chicken was completely soggy and falling off! It's very unappetizing. But if they could somehow add a type of flour thats more firm to the recipe, that would make all the difference in quality! Lastly when it came to that chicken the sesame sauce was not thick and coating the chicken, it was liquid at the bottom of the to go container. It was pretty gross and because it wasn't thick and didn't stick to the sesame chicken my sesame chicken didn't taste sweet, didn't taste like anything but plain chicken. That was the worst sesame sauce I've ever had in my life. Maybe if they add some flour to the liquid and thicken it up it would hold good on the chicken. I would have to say overall that sesame chicken meal was ruined and gross, but has the potential of improving if they could tweak their recipe. And the slimy glue-like texture from the oil in the fried rice ruined what could have been the best rice dish ever. Please reformulate your ingredients and cooking methods. There's potential here but as is, the food was really disgusting.

My review from 2 years ago: Food here taste below average as the chicken was dry and hard to chew thru basically inedible, possibly from freezer burn. Also I'm feeling a bit taken advantage of, that I asked for the small portion of sweet and sour chicken, and the small portion of egg fried rice and was charged $20. I was in disbelief that those were the prices for small portions so I double checked by asking "are you sure that's for small portions" and she said yes. I'd hate to see what the price is for 2 large portions. 🤦 I don't ever remember paying this steeply for small portions at any other Chinese restaurant. Let me know your thoughts on...

Used to go many Monday's with my father for the lunch buffet. Service was always just fine. Would order a special order of General Tso's chicken once and awhile. They always accommodated me. A few weeks ago I was going to place the order I do once and awhile, and I had the worst experience there I've ever had at a restaurant. The little wench on the phone who probably was in high school tried to cut me off as I was placing my order to try and tell me it wasn't possible to change the standard general's chicken. I cut her off as she cut me off telling her that I order it that way all the time. She then tried to tell me that there "might" be an extra charge. I told her I never pay an extra charge to have them take out peppers and put in water chestnut instead....a little pause and she was real snippy and unprofessional saying......."well there might be an extra charge, just saying" angered and frustrated, I hung up. A half hour or so later I wanted to call and talk to the manager to address the issue. I call up and sure enough she answers again. I simply say "Let me talk to your manager or whoever is in charge" I knew it wasn't going to go easy from there. She asked who was calling, and I said that I do not need to give her my name as it is no concern to her and asked her again to talk to the manager. We went back and forth as she was unprofessionally arguing with me. She then finally put the phone down or something....in that time probably making up some sort of story to the manager making her look like an innocent angel. After a minute or two of hearing noise in the background, she gets back on the phone as says "Ya, sorry they're busy" What kind of joke is this???? Not only do I get treated disrespectful by this little high school wench on the phone, but when trying to get to someone who could hopefully resolve any issues also denies to please a customer, that just goes to show they deserve their 3.5 rating here and hopefully it goes down even more. Everyone I know who would eat there once and awhile will no longer go there as well as me after telling them about my horrible customer service experience. I hope this place goes...
