Last minute Thanksgiving order for 2 family's worth of pie consumption? Check, Melissa banged our order out (first time order/tasting of this joint) and was a total sweetheart at the shop. Got to meet her kids, both a true delight to say hello to while getting checked out. And Melissa herself? Ma'am, you are a treasure. Caked on flour head to toe, but the "mom's kitchen" vive came through in the strongest, most positive light. I felt less like I was cheating by bringing your pies to the festivities (like I do if I swing by Metro Market for a quick cake or pie) and more like a close friend baked these JUST for us.

I also have to mention how much I loved the rubber ducky vending machine :). You and your shop are a delight, and I am writing this review today because I just placed another order, to grace my immediate and extended families Christmas get togethers.

P.S the Caramel Apple pie is to freakin' DIE for. Legit, I think I blissed out upon first taste. Tart and not soggy apples, that granola mix on top, it was unlike any apple pie I've had and blew the likes of Elegant Farmer's caramel apple pie OUT OF THE WATER. We ordered cheese cakes for our wedding from mama ducky. Melissa was awesome start to finish! She took time to talk with me with out an appointment.(I had been to 3 other bakeries and no one would even answer any questions I had with out a appointment) We like red velvet and Melissa made little trials of each red velet option for us to try. This bakery is amazing! We had their sticky buns, so amazing and perfectly sticky sweet. I highly recommend them, and also enjoying a cup of fresh brewed Valentine coffee while snacking on lemon bars, carrot cake cupcakes, and brownies.
