2025 - September Love coming here and bringing along friends for the first time. They are always genuinely surprised that this gem of a café exists in downtown Waukesha. The owners go out of their way to make everyone feel welcomed and valued. Their bakery selection is homemade, unique, and delicious. (I dream about the walnut roll, which they call a scone.) One of my go-to places whenever I am in Waukesha. PS, they were awarded “Best of 2025.” ******************************************************** My friend came here a few days ago. He could not wait to invite me this time. Waukesha has several local coffee shops. Each has their own sense of ambiance, food, and service. The Waukesha Cafe House does an amazing job of carving out it's own space with some unique features. As soon as you enter, you get the warm feeling of being in someone's home. The way it's laid out, you can find the perfect spot for a larger group, or smaller/quieter spot. We ended up on the second floor, in a smaller room with two 4 top tables. The menu has a nice selection of drinks, homemade pastries, and breakfast/lunch items. We ordered a couple of chai lattes, a pistachio stuffed scone, and bagel. All were perfect temperature, fresh and delicious. The place was quiet when we arrived, but started to fill up with plenty of more people. The spot we picked was good for a conve The owner, Mojib, stopped by a couple of times to make sure we had everything we needed. He told us more about his story, his interested, and future plans. (Stay tuned for more seating areas). Really liked everything about this place. We will definately be back.

I just adore this coffee shop. Although I have yet to experience the setting upstairs I’m sure it’s just as pleasant as the downstairs setting. The atmosphere is so bright and open, making it feel more comforting. It offers wifi as well. I see many people nest up with their devices for work or study. The place is well decorated and clean. I’m not sure what country the owners are from, but I adore what they bring to the table. They seem so family oriented and I love that the most making the atmosphere just even more pleasant and welcoming. They are so well groomed and look amazing, and their character matches their looks. You can’t beat it. You can tell they work hard at what they do and succeed. They are so polite and friendly and their service is phenomenal despite a busy atomoshere they deserve credit for all the work they bring. The food is amazing and the prices are reasonable for what is put in. My favorite dish is the East Coast sandwhich with the bagel, salmon and egg. It has this dill cream cheese it’s just a unique combo which makes a signature to their shop because I don’t know where else I’d get that dish. Their dishes are all unique and taste amazing as well as the beverages.

This was my first time at Waukesha Cafe House and I will be coming back to explore more on the menu :). This little cafe house, well named, is cozy and great for both social and alone activities which was exactly what I was looking for. Lots of cute decor and large menu lots of options. Contrary to other reviews I thought the staff were very kind remembering regulars and striking up small talk and asking how service is. The staff is direct with language which is different than rude I thought they were lovely. As for food I had an iced pistachio latte and I am picky I don’t like burnt coffee I thought it was amazing not too sweet but flavor still strong. Best part of my day for sure. I had the avocado beet toast and 10/10 for presentation it was a bit cold I suppose a fault of breakfast food not staff. Overall I would give it a 4.5 if I could and will edit my review upon more visits. *UPDATE* I returned two days later craving their coffee and they remembered me and my order and thanked me for leaving a review. They really care about their customers and service go check them out!! :)

Went to check out the new local coffee house. We were excited they offered, as advertised, fresh bakery items. Well, at walk-in, while we waited in line, the "fresh" bakery items were none other than Sam's club finest. That's right, purchased at Sam's club and resold as fresh made. We waited in line for 10 minutes, with only 2 guests infront of us. Manage/owner/ guy that acted busy but wasn't really doing anything asked us if we wanted to sit and they would come and take our order at the table. We politely declined and said we had no problem waiting. A couple minutes go by and he rudely made us sit at a table. We waited for a waitress or non busy guy to show up and take our order. We waited in great anticipation to order Sam's club bakery items, because it's more fun and a better use of money to do that then eat the same ones we already bought back at home. Still waiting non busy guy stops by to see if we ordered yet, no we haven't. Waited longer for someone to return, in total 30 minutes. Others were able to wait in line and order, not us. Needless to say, we left. Walked right by non busy guy and he didn't say a word or care. Went to a different local coffee shop that acrually makes their bakery items fresh daily. Served immediately even though they were 10 times more busy. Save your self time and money, go to Sam's club to get your bakery fix at a fraction of the cost and a coffee. Good luck!!! Just what waukesha needed, another coffee shop, just like we need...
