They have a sign out saying open to Midnight Friday and Saturday, but I went through the drive thru at 10:40 pm. No on answered. I honked, yelled and tried to get their attention, but nothing. I drove around to see if they were open and if people were inside. There were at least 2 workers visible. I drove to the drive thru again. They did not answer. Other car tried the other drive up speaker. After waiting another 5 minutes I drove around again and the other car drove off. I tried one last time driving back and forth hoping it would trigger someone inside that several people wanted to be served. Two other vehicles came and left. After spending over 15 minutes trying to get some service I drove off. Why bother advertising on the advertising Marquee if you are not going to answer the drive thru window? They lost at least six customers from this time I first showed up until the time I finally drove off.
I am definitely getting fed up with the lack of service and poor quality at McDonald's.
If it was not for the fact that it was after 10:00 p.m. I would have gone to a fast food restaurant that was not McDonald's because of the bad service I've received elsewhere. This is one of the last final straws. I would definitely not visit the one on Highway 100 and Burleigh in Milwaukee ever again.
If McDonald's doesn't learn to start treating its customers better they should look for being replaced and put out a business. I hear fast food worker saying that they want $15 an hour, they shouldn't even have jobs if they're not going to work to make their management money. The six customers that drove off, seven with myself, could have paid for the labor that they wasted in...
Read moreSo I visited this McDonald's location several times in the past week and I will tell you now that the subordinate staff members at this McDonald's who are not in the manager role probably won't like this review but here goes anyway: I think this location is absolutely stellar and doing a topnotch job as far as the food and service. When I got out of my car and walked inside, I realized why they are doing so well and their formula. They have a tough, no-nonsense sort of manager that keeps everyone in line and keeps everyone on top of things at all times. The staff all have this great respect for him to where they don't really mouth off at all so the manager really has this location in a nice working order. Because of this, the whole team all works as a well-oiled machine. It doesn't necessarily look like the subordinate staff enjoy being kept in line of course (lol), but they are in line and doing phenomenally as result. You can hear the manager booming at everyone to keep up pace and make the food right and it's a brilliant formula because they all do just that with no backtalk or mouthing off. The manager is an older, old school type of black man who probably knows the meaning of hard work from having lived back in the day. His subordinates look like very late teens and early 20 somethings. I think these young folks would just be doing their own thing and out of control if not for this old school type manager keeping everyone in line. They make stellar team all of them and the service is great because of the older manager's old school,...
Read moreI was a little disappointed in my most recent visit on 06/09. I pulled into the drive- thru because my 3 year old was with me and seen a line, so I decided we'll park and go in since I was getting him ice cream anyway. To my surprise THE LOBBY WAS LOCKED. The sign said they were suppose to be open until 9, but that wasn't fact. With gas prices the way they are n no one wants to have to sit in line for lord knows how long. The option to go in would've been nice. I had to get a video of it (6:25 pm on a Thursday). UPDATE- Visited again on 10/19/23, and was ONCE AGAIN disappointed. I'm beginning to believe that whoever owns this location really doesn't care about customer service or these reviews. The staff (including a very much older manager) hangs around joking and laughing while people wait for corrected orders. I ordered a happy meal with an extra small fry. I received my happy meal fry, then patiently waited at the window for the other fry. I sat and watched one young lady play on her phone, a few others standing around laughing and joking with each other, then someone realized I was just sitting there. They began to ask EACH OTHER what I was waiting for, and I opened the window myself to say my other fry. A young lady giggled and said "I thought that fry was for the happy meal", but if they actually PAID ATTENTION to the board and receipts, they'd know exactly what was ordered. This place...
