Great food and dessert. Coming back for sure. I loved the shrimp pasta. And the spaghetti. Try the french dressing on your salad. Must be homemade. I would live to find out because it's the best french dressing I've ever tried.
Future suggestions to get 5*: -buy a RO for water (Reverse Osmosis). The Bay STL tap water was so bad I bought a bottled root beer. -same uniform for everybody. The 17year old was very nice and friendly, but the oversized grey sweater looked very unprofessional.especially when everyone else working had the green polo on. -they had about 5 tables and 4 waitresses. We had to ask for refills and flag people down to get out order taken after the drinks. With about one table for every person working the floor you would assume they would be taking the order or at least watching to see if we were ready to order. So I guess just watch the table to see if we are ready to order.
Do not take the "suggestions" as a bad review because the food is really good. The dessert is good also. Portions were good as well. Coming...
Read moreThis place used to be great, but it's gone severely down hill. The twins, as always, were amazing. But the kitchen staff and the manager (or owner?) Need to regroup themselves with time management and manners. We watched the manager very rudely wave off a paying customer and say, "I don't have time for you." Which he did have time, plenty of it, as he was just standing there. We sat there for over an hour without getting our food. We watched as 3 tables who ordered after us received their food and a to-go order, that was ordered at the counter after we order, got their food and left. No apologies about the wait. No attempts at making it right from management. We had to get our food to go because our lunch hour was up, we noticed we were not the only ones. Over an hour for two sandwiches in uncalled for. On top of that, the pattie my coworker received was extremely burnt and looked as though it had been cooking the entire hour long wait. I don't know what has happened to this place, but I seriously hope they can get...
Read moreThis restaurant sits in a small shopping center..the exterior belies the cost and deliciousness of the food. I had the fried oyster platter and hubby had the combo seafood platter. We both had the gumbo which was very good. My oysters were great..fried to perfection. The only complaint hobby had about his seafood was it seemed it was all fried in the same batter. He had a side of onion rings that came home as he was too full to eat them. I had the sweet potato fries..very good. I would give 5 stars except for price. We both had a beer and our bill was over 70.00..I would go back and get something...
