7 Brew Coffee — Restaurant in Waxahachie

I had my rating at 5 stars before on service, but this last time was very disappointing. The line was long, but I wanted to treat my husband by getting him a pumpkin spice latte (his favorite), so I got into line with no hesitation. The young lady who took my order was great! Then it got to the waiting for my order. The line was moving quickly until the car ahead of me honked their horn to get one of the girls attention from the other line. She squealed and ran over to the car and proceeded to hang herself into their car through the window. She stayed like that just chatting for at least 5 minutes. That customer's order was sitting waiting on the table behind her the entire time and, sadly, so was mine (getting cold as I watched). Two other servers finally came over and dislodged her from the car and pointed out the long line waiting. She then went back to the other line she'd previously been at and the line started to move allong again. By the time I actually got my drinks and left the location, they were sadly cold and no longer up to standard. My treat for my husband was ruined by the inconsiderate employee. I would have let this one time pass, but I have recently heard the same complaint from someone I work with who had to get out of the line and leave so she could get to work on time, and so, did not get her coffee at all! Just wanted to share my experience with Waxahachie, seven brew on Highway 77. My husband and I were in Waxahachie visiting my mother for Mother’s Day as he always buys me a gift card from seven brew my card had $.39 on it as the gentleman took our order in line then we proceeded to move up to the cashier, he pays for my coffee and hand her my gift card to place $100 on it the girl took his money and the gift card inside the building. She returned with the gift card and the drink and handed it to my husband. As we live in Tiler, I always go to seven brew on Broadway the following Wednesday after Mother’s Day once again, pull up at seven brew tried to use my gift card lo and behold there’s zero dollars on it at seven brew are franchised out Tyler Texas seven brew has nothing to do with Waxahachie seven brew. I have called the phone number and left a message about this incident seven brew in Tyler try to help me figure this out, but their hands are tied due to the franchise. With all this being said, anyone buying a gift card from seven brew in Waxahachie always check your balance before you pull out. I’m one that does not like to call someone a thief. I would just like to know where my hundred dollars went due to it did not get applied to my card did it go in the employees pocket? Did she not apply it to the gift card correctly wondering minds would like to know where my hundred dollars went. Just heads up, Waxahachie watch your seven brew on 77. I was not pleased that the baristas did not know what was in the drinks they make. Not an allergen friendly place by any means. No one would bother reading a label for me :( Starbucks is a terrible business but at least they’d read a label for me. I would’ve happily drove away if they had told me even their black coffee with no additions was not safe. Unfortunately that is not what happened.

The coffee itself was not terrible, I had to order coffee black just in case there was wheat in the other products. Went home and spiced it up, not three hours later I was PUKING. If that was just black coffee there should’ve been zero reason for me to have a reaction. Now I have to suffer for the next few days with stomach issues. Thank you so much for that. It takes very little human compassion to just ask or look at a label. I was told what I was served was just black coffee. Nope, nope, nope.

The atmosphere was extremely obnoxious, I’m young and love music but this was too loud for early in the morning. The staff also have very little patience and are not friendly. I would not recommend this place to anyone, especially if they have an allergy.
