Crumbl — Restaurant in Waxahachie

I went on 11-6-25 for the Martha Stewart free cookies promotion and when I walked in I wasn't even greeted or let alone acknowledged for almost 30 secs. I was awkwardly standing there watching 3 young women scooping what looked to be brownie mix into tiny cake tins. When I was finally acknowledged I asked the lady how do I get the free cookie thins? And she proceeded to say that I had to make a purchase, to which I then replied I thought it was no purchase necessary, according to the email that was sent to me. And then she proceeded to say Yeah I'm sorry I don't know why it's like that, corporate should've sent out an email to all its customers rectifying the mistake. So I begrudgingly purchased the cheapest thing on their menu which was a 1pk cookie box for $0.49 and then I got my cookies. Good cookies! Don’t get me wrong I love me some Crumble cookies and I don’t usually get them a lot cause they’re very expensive for me, but I was very disappointed today to get my cookies I wasn’t there to pick them up. My husband was and he didn’t know what I got. he got home and I looked at the box and I realize something was not right so I looked at my order and looked at my receipt on my phone from the app and most of them were different now I’m not sure if they ran out of the cookies or what but at least could’ve told us Yes, They are so good. Honestly, crumbl as a whole has been going downhill. It’s not any stores’ faults, it’s just corporate. Some Crumbls are genuinely pretty mid and don’t serve the best looking cookies, but I am a regular over the app and through delivery at the Waxahachie location and have been for about 3 years now, and I genuinely have never had an issue with my cookies. And I mean I order A LOT. Inside is always clean when I do in store pickup and I appreciate how nice the cookies always look. I’ve been to other stores in the DFW area and they either have messy presentation or they really skimp out of the frosting/toppings, but personally I’ve never had a bad experience at Hachie.
