Highly Disappointing Service and Misleading Information I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with this business warrants one. I'm tech-savvy and capable of performing screen repairs myself. However, because my device is critical for my work, I opted to pay for a quick turnaround. This decision, unfortunately, led to significant frustration. Upon arriving Wednesday morning, I explicitly asked multiple times if the required screen was in stock and was repeatedly assured it was. This was the first of many misrepresentations. I also confirmed the repair timeframe, and each time I was told it would take 24 to 48 hours. When 48 hours passed without any communication, I became concerned. By Friday, I was irritated and drove to the Waxahachie location to check on my phone. To my surprise, no one seemed to have any information, only telling me the repair would take a week. This was completely unacceptable, especially given how essential smartphones are for daily life, work, and security. I again questioned if the screen was on hand, and this time I was told they had one reserved for me. Despite my growing frustration, they still had my phone and a $50 deposit, so I held onto a sliver of hope. When I was told again that it would take "a week or so," I stood my ground, reminding them of the initial promise that the screen was in stock. I was then told the initial misinformation was due to a "new guy" — an explanation I found irrelevant to my situation. It was clear at this point that I was not to be trifled with. I was then informed the screen was actually in Arlington, and someone would retrieve it to complete my repair. Predictably, this was another false promise. Finally, at noon on Saturday, I received a call that my phone was almost ready. Upon arrival, I was informed the total cost for this "circus" was $300. I could have easily performed this repair myself, saving a significant amount of money and avoiding this entire ordeal. I will absolutely never return to this business and will strongly advise others to steer clear. Note to Bo: Attempting to discredit this review, as you've done with others, would be futile. I have to agree with the other reviews that talk about the terrible customer service with this company. Tony, the manager, is horrible with customers, he is very condescending. I took the phone in and said what was going on with it to the girl at the counter, she then went into the back, came back and said she’d order a part. No one ever looked at my phone or checked to see if that was really what was wrong with it. Now it is my understanding she is not a tech. I stupidly paid, not knowing the store was corrupt. I went back in one hour later, telling her that is not what was wrong with the phone, she tells me there is no refund and I only get store credit or go ahead and replace the part. What??? Replace something not broke? I tell her I need to speak to the manager, hence Tony. He tells me the policy of no returns. I explain I understand if there was something physical I was trying to return or if he actually put a part in my phone, but up to this point NO ONE in that store had even touched my phone. I asked him what would have happened next week when I brought the phone back and he found out it was the wrong part. He actually said then we would diagnose it…and I am assuming charge me more money or just replace a good part and pretend it was bad. He then argued he ordered the part, I said then cancel it, it has been less than an hour. He said he can’t, there are hundreds of parts. WHAT? I know it hasn’t shipped because you guys told me it would be next week before it would come in. He still refused. I paid with a card, this would be a simple transaction to keep a customer happy. THEN he tried to tell me he would not credit back the full amount, he was keeping the tax! Omg, I had to inform him that was illegal. I don’t want store credit, I don’t want to come back to this store ever especially after dealing with Tony. I am pretty sure the no refund policy is because they screw up too much. William Kapsidelis since you are the owner of this store, you might want to get a hold of Tony, he seems to be causing some bad reviews. I did ask Tony to have you contact me and he refused. Good thing I found you on LinkedIn....

As you can see from the photo I visited CPR on 3/31/2018 and paid them $64.94 to replace the battery in my Nexus 6P. I had ordered a replacement battery and tool kit from Amazon with plans to do it myself but my schedule was too busy and I was a little hesitant to do the work.

Cody was courteous and got the work done in the time he said he would... or so I thought...

My phone continued to have battery issues. I figured I had received a bad battery from Amazon so I ordered another and another kit to do the work myself.

Imagine my surprise when, today, I opened the phone to find the OEM battery still inside. "Furious" does not even begin to describe where I am at on this.

I work out of town. My phone is my lifeline as a construction superintendent. The battery issues caused difficulties too numerous to list. Not to mention I had to take time out of my weekend with my family (which isn't every weekend) to do the work myself.

I don't live in Waxahachie, nor am I frequently near there... but rest assured, next time I am, I will be marching in their store and demanding a refund, compensation for both batteries (since the first was never installed and I had to buy a second), and compensation for my time doing it. Since they were going to charge me 64.94 to do the work it only seems fair I be compensated the same...

So let's see:

$64.94 - I was charged for work that was never done $64.94 - my labor to do the work they were supposed to do $14.60 - the first battery and tool kit which I left with them $34.36 - second OEM battery I bought, tools, and replacement glass $178.84 - what I figure I'm owed

I would be glad to have a discussion with the owner, and give a favorable review of this fiasco, after receiving the above...
