First, I want to say, many many many years ago about 7 or 8 Jack in the box was the place to go. Great food great service but in recent year they just have gone downhill. Management is rude and make you feel like their mistakes are the customer's fault. Recently, I ordered, and this is the exact words used, "4 chicken sandwiches and 10 tacos with no hot sauce". What I got was 4 plain chicken sandwiches and 8 cold tacos with hot sauce. I called to complained and asked for a refund or food voucher to be picked up at a later date. I was told I have to return the food in order for them to replace it. I told them I could not drive across town to exchange the food. I was low on gas they are located 10 miles from my home. Which may not seem like a lot to some people but with gas prices going up it is to me. I told them my children will not eat anything with hot sauce. She told me too bad, that was how their mistakes where handled. While I was speaking to the Manager, my youngest nephew ate on of the plain sandwiches because he was "hungry". I told the manager this and her response was well if he ate it than we can't replace it. He hadn't eaten since lunch and he took it while i was on the phone. The MANAGER did not care. I asked to speak to the GM. She told me he wasn't present, I really didn't believe her. I said to get a hold of him and I would wait. A few minutes later I could hear him in the background telling the manager to tell me "too bad she has to bring the food back." I realized then that I was being punished for their mistake. I had to buy food from Sonic who is literally down the road from my home. The issue with this is I had already spent money at Jack in the box and nownI had to spend more money at Sonic, including gas. I asked for corporates phone number and the District managers phone number. She did give me corporates phone number but refused to give me her District Managers phone number. I don't know if she thought I wanted his personal number and that is why she refused. I know personal phone numbers should not be given, but, I'm sure he has an office or business phone line. She would not release DM, GM, or her name. I'm sure for security reasons. I have decided to take the next step and contacting a news agency and tell them to possibly do a story of the Jack in the box mistreatment. You should invest in customer service training as well as management training. You should retrain the current employees. Management has been known to treat its employees harshly. Read morePlaced a "Delivery Order" through the app. 1st issue: Oddly enough, it sent the order to Waxahachie and I live in Midlothian. I checked, the Waxahachie Jitb is 9 miles away and the one in Midlothian is only 7.9 miles away. 2nd issue: HALF of my order was missing!! I ordered 6 tacos with NO lettuce and extra cheese and received 2 tacos WITH lettuce!! Ordered a meal with a burger and larger curly fries and received NO large curly fries. And the burger I DID receive was missing a patty! I called the restaurant and was told by the manager, Jermaine, that all he could do was a refund BUT I'd have to physically be there for him to do it! I asked if they could just send another driver out with the other half of my meal and he said I would have to physically be there to receive my refund!! BEYOND ridiculous!!
