GameStop — Local services in Waxahachie

So I came to this Gamestop, looking for something to give me that old nostalgic feeling from the O.G Pokemon games. Jenny went above and beyond going into great detail about her product knowledge over the games and really shaping the experience for me on which game she thought I would like! She went through like 5 Pokemon ETB boxes with me telling me which one she thinks is the best value for the price and what makes each one special. Ultimately I went home with just a Funko and some trading packs, but after a couple hours I went by I just kept thinking about how Jenny described Brilliant Diamond to me and I just had to come back into town to buy it! That is GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! She answered every question, went over every detail, didn’t pressure me into buying the most expensive items, and yet I loved the experience so much I bought a Funko Pop, some trading card packs and a Game! When it comes time for me to renew my GameStop membership I’ll be sure to only come to Jenny because she makes me wanna spend the $25.00 to renew for another year! Girl goes above and beyond! Scott prestige where to start I come in today with a game system with six controllers and a base that it plugs in with Scott said that if I wanted to trade this in without an HDMI cord, I would have to pay him $40 to take my PlayStation 4 six controllers and a cooling base that charges two controllers Clearly GameStop does not want your business or mine in this instance and I would say it’s false advertising that they buy game systems and controllers to resell them. I’ve shopped with a GameStop for a long time and this is by far the most disappointing experience that I’ve ever encountered...

We love this location, and frequent just to see Jenny and Scott. He not only can recommend great games, both in store and just down-right nostalgic, but he makes sure everything is maintained all while making guests feel welcome. And Jenny (miss her) was an absolute gem.

Not many store managers will take the time to have a chat about a good game or niche card, but Scott’s the man and know’s what’s up when it comes to fun shows, cool games, and just how to treat people....
