Over two years ago a friend & I received the worst service we have ever had while eating here. After paying for our food & leaving I said I would never go back. Well, two years later I decided that maybe over such a long period some improvements would be made. I was very wrong. For the third time, the same friend & I received terrible customer service. Upon arriving, there were only two other tables in the entire restaurant & one of them left after 5 minutes. She rushed our entire order out to us & then left. Maybe 10 minutes later another person walked in ready to make a to-go order. As many people do, he checked his food to make sure it was correct before leaving. He told her it wasn't correct & asked if they could fix it. I watched this woman roll her eyes, snatch the order from his hands, & angrily walk back to the kitchen.
After sitting at the table for 40 more minutes wondering where our waitress had gone off to, suddenly the restaurant was filled with music. We sat there for maybe another 10 minutes before I stood up to find our waitress. I walked to the front & saw that she was laying down in a booth, on her phone, & eating food. She made direct eye contact with me but didn't move until I said we were ready to pay. She jumped out of the booth & literally said "Oh that is wonderful. I'm glad you're ready". Keep in mind this is the only time I had seen her smile while being there. While at the register, she wouldn't give us a working pen & stood there staring while we tried to get the pen she gave us to work somehow. Then once it started to work she starred at the receipt waiting to see what her tip would be.
I will NEVER return to this restaurant nor will I ever recommend it to someone. If the customer service could match the food then it might be a great...
Read moreI love Vietnamese cuisine and i love exploring new places to eat. With that said i have my fair share of tasting and visiting hundreds of Vietnamese restaurants around the country. I am happy that there is one place in our area to serve Vietnamese food but i have to be honest, it’s not one of the best of have tried. The pho is good but limited on choices, there is no tendon or tripe pho and most of the choice include meatballs. The vermicelli with grilled pork and rolls was good. However i decided to try a staple dish - shaken beef. This is very traditional dish, with cubed steak, cooked medium, and glazed in sticky garlicky sauce with onions and sometimes tomatoes. It also comes with a dipping vinegar/pepper sauce. Well, none of that was there. The meat was well done, there was no sauce or glaze whatsoever, and was served with very sad looking veggies that looked more boiled than steamed, with no flavor. The meat portion was very small. This was not worth it the $14 price. And it took sooo long , my wife got her sandwich, waited 5 minutes, ate it, and then my dish arrived. 15 minutes apart. If you are desperate for Vietnamese food or never had it, this may do, but if you are looking for excellent Vietnamese food and if you have a good base for comparison, you may want to drive...
Read moreAbsolutely the best PHO in Ellis county however store owners removed the name as to privacy of owners name. 05/21 I’m updating because I ordered shrimp spring rolls and I was wondering why there was so many veggies actually mixed green salad a few bean sprouts. I opened it and 4 HALF shrimps meaning I received 2 whole shrimp where inside I’m totally disappointed. The PHO was stellar but for that I will not be back. You have a competitor in Arlington and when I order spring rolls you get the WHOLE piece of beef chicken or whatever. That was totally to me unethical basically deceptive if I wanted a veggie spring roll which I ♥️ I would have ordered those. My leftover Pho is great. Restaurant owners take note times are very challenging for everyone even if you are wealthy. We have too many options and I live and love and travel abroad and local and my food reviews as I will post on my social media...
