The line finally normalized. In Sioux falls eating out is always at the top of everyone's list of things to do. During The first one to two months of any half decent but new to Sioux Falls restaurant opening its doors. There is always a line of customers for as far as your eye can see. Once the newness dies off. There still tends to be a standard flow of hungry customers everyday. Chic fil A was one of the franchises that has managed to hold out for an extraordinarily long time before finally establishing itself in Sioux Falls. So the extremely long line to get food from there lasted almost 4 months before finally settling into a reasonable size. I ate there within 2 months of them opening and it was amazing. Just like I had experienced From other locations in cities elsewhere. Great tasting food. Unfortunately I ate there again during the evening a couple of days ago and it was quite a disappointment. The food did not taste good. The presentation was not executed very well either. The smell from the food was not pleasant and when looking through the drive up window i saw a very ugly and grungy looking kitchen. The employees looked unhappy, sluggish and also a little grungy (sorry not critisizing the staff). Once I began to eat my chicken strips I was very discouraged. The food actually tasted horrible. I only ate one chicken strip and by the time i finished that and my fries I had lost my appetite all together. I hope this was just a fluke. Would be a Pitty to see that continue on. It was a lasting impression. So much so that I no longer crave their food when I see...
Read moreFirst off don't understand the hype around this place lol there is better chicken at any other named chicken place but anyways. I have worked for multiple delivery platforms and have come in as a customer twice. During all of these visits the motivation from the employees is something in dire need. Especially when there is BARELY any other customers in the store. I driver 20mins from Brandon after accepting an offer at 9:30am on a Wednesday. I get there and it's not ready. Stand there for approximately 9mins and still not ready. The $ I would have relieved for the delivery would have been $4.13. That's from Driving from Brandon, to Chick FIL a to the customers address.
I also notice often that delivery meals are not as "important" as that of the customers that are there in person. That doesn't make sense to me and quite frankly is pretty biased. Me, as the delivery driver am there in place of customer, so I should be treated as such and even at that what if I'm delivery to the elderly or disabled? Now, ur making those less fortunate wait even longer on top of the bias.
Anybody every get ur delivery and the food is cold? Lol this is a perfect example of why. Aside from my experience as a customer of chick fil a thus company as a whole disgusts me so I really wasn't surprised on how they do in fact act in person. I consistently and highly do not recommend this specific chick fil a and all others for...
Read moreIn all honesty I have had chick-fil-a all over the U.S; So coming from the big city like Houston and Atlanta and Dallas I would say as employees and training wise they did a pretty dang good job they’re all polite and go out of their way for you which is also another reason why they are just a little higher price than other chain fast food you also pay for great services. However as management wise, they’re kind of out of place. What I mean I chick-fil-a all nation wide takes online order and so does this location. Now usually for online order you order and pay straight through the app so you just walk In on the side counter and pick up your order and the bag is basically there and ready for you. However I ordered online just to find out at the very end when I had already paid that I have to go through the drive thru line just to pick up my order. What is the point of me ordering ahead online and paying ahead just to have me going through the line again? Please fix your online situation you can’t offer online ordering if people are going to have to wait in the drive thru line again that defeats all purpose of ordering ahead… you want us to pay you and buy your food but you’re not making it easier for anyone in the city, considering you’re the only chick-fil-a in town. Soon enough people will start to leave and go to slim chicken or else for their chicken and...
