Would give negative or zero stars if I could. Went thru drive thru today. Ordered two rice bowls, two appetizers and a drink. It was around 4:30 pM, not a super busy time. Order total was $25.51. When I got to the window the employees were busy talking and it took a little bit for them to open the window which they had trouble with , it seemed broken or something. I gave them my payment and again, it took some time before they came back and said my card had declined. I knew nothing was wrong with my card, so I paid cash, got my food and pulled into the parking lot to call my bank.
My bank confirmed that the transaction had gone through and suggested that I go back to the restaurant, speak with a manager and get refunded since I had paid twice for my order, once on my card and once in cash.
When I went and spoke with the manager who was sitting in the customer section of the restaurant with other workers on their laptops, she said she”could give me the email to Panda support and I could get the information from my bank and email it to them to get a refund”.
I declined her offer and asked to be refunded immediately and offered to give the food back and informed her I would not be paying twice for my meal. She seemed dumbfounded and like she didn’t know what to do and that doing a refund seemed impossible. She asked if I did electronic banking and could she see the transaction in my bank app. I do not use electronic or app banking and feel this is an invasion of privacy anyway. I then offered to call my bank with her so she could get the information needed to issue my refund. So, on speaker phone, in the middle of this public place, we called my bank, got the transaction number, time and date of purchase and the amount. My bank also confirmed to her that there was nothing wrong with my card or account.
She went to the back to get my cash refund and the young lady who had waited on me at the drive thru came out and said, she was sorry, but the person working with her had told her that my card declined and she didn’t see it and she hoped it didn’t ruin my day. The manager then came out with my money and gave it to me, but then asked if I had a receipt. I told her I was not given a receipt. I opened my wallet, showed her the change i had been given when I paid and showed her the lack of a receipt. She then said,”maybe it’s in your bag of food” and asked to look in my bag of food. We went to my car, she looked at the bag of food and in my car and verified that I had not been given a receipt. Again, this felt like a HUGE invasion of privacy.
I will never return to this location and urge others to ensure they are given a receipt and watch their transactions so they aren’t getting double billed. What nonsense!! Terrible...
Read moreThis place never has the items offered on their menu. Every time I have been there, they have been out of multiple products. The only reason I come back is because I like the food from Panda Express.
Tonight, I went through the drive through because, apparently, their dining room closes at 8. Waited in line behind 8-10 cars, get up to the screen and the guy tells me he's out of a number of items. He said, "Would you like to know what we have available?" Ok, yes, that seems like it would be useful information. It was faster for him to tell me what they have than to tell me what they are out of. It was pathetic. I'm so sick of trying to go here to get what I want and not be able to. The really upsetting part was that I had to wait in the drive through line just to find out they didn't have half their items. It was an hour and a half before closing, the line in front of me was long, the line behind me was long. It's not like people weren't ordering...stock the product that's on your menu...or make it to order! This was post-dinner rush. You can't tell me you were too busy. Keep staff on, make the items, prepare for business.
I get it when it happens once in a while but this has happened every time I've been here. That's just poor management of resources. I've been disappointed multiple times here and have given them the benefit of the doubt but enough is enough. Please quit treating your customers like this or they'll...
Read moreEXTREMELY HOSTILE EMPLOYEE! BE WARNED: This was the most shocking and disrespectful experience I've ever had at a Panda Express. I’ve been coming to this location for years because of how convenient it is, right off the freeway and close to home, but after today, I’m seriously reconsidering.
While calmly waiting for my food, a new employee I’ve never seen before, an African-American man wearing a hat with a small afro sticking out, suddenly snapped at me and asked, “What are you staring at?” Then, without a moment’s pause, he told me to “hurry up” in a tone that was completely uncalled for.
I asked him, “Is that the way you talk to all of your customers?” And his response? “If you don’t like it...” and then something dismissive. Before I could even process what was happening, he ignored me, took another customer’s order, and acted like nothing had occurred.
This wasn’t just poor service, it was volatile, condescending, and incredibly unprofessional. He treated me like a child being scolded in public, and it left me humiliated in front of others. I’ve never felt so disrespected in a restaurant I used to enjoy and trust.
Management needs to speak with this individual immediately. This is not how loyal customers should be treated, and if behavior like this is allowed to continue, I guarantee more people will choose to take their business elsewhere, and talk about...
