Hy-Vee Market Grille — Restaurant in Wayne Township

I wasn't impressed. There was no one in the actual restaurant to take your order and the menu at the checkout didn't seem to include everything they would otherwise offer. My experience was further frustrated when they tried to overcharge me by claiming that I could only get one free child meal even though we had two adult meals. I literally had to walk them over to their own sign where it said you got a free child's meal with each adult meal.

Hy-Vee, I get what you are trying to do, and we were more than willing to give it a try, but don't bother if you are not going to do it right. You are just wasting space in your store. Why bother paying for all the taps and the bar if you don't have anyone that can...

Again, another ridiculous experience. No one to actual come to your table and take your order. So you look things over before hand and then they seat you. Daughter decides on pancakes from the ALL DAY BREAKFAST portion of the kids menu. We are then told even though it says that, the kitchen won't do breakfast all day..... COME ON! In town for a wedding and thought we’d have a simple breakfast at Market Grille. We love the one in Marshall MN. Apparently too difficult to get two eggs, hash browns and toast right. After 45 minutes of waiting we asked about our order only to learn “something happened to our order”. She wanted us to reorder. This is the same person who never even checked on us once or brought water. We left. Will not be back or recommend...
