7 Brew Coffee — Restaurant in Wayne Township

First time going to 7 Brew Coffee and had an awesome experience! I had heard of 7 Brews from social media and was looking forward to the opening of the first Sioux Falls location. Having lived in SF for 6 years now, I've tried all the coffee companies here including Caribou Coffee, Scooters Coffee, Starbucks, and Ziggi's Coffee so having another option is always welcome. Starting with the customer service, everyone was engaging, helpful, and really sweet. I appreciated the kind energy. I ordered an Iced Caramel Macchiato Medium and the size of the medium cup is a large at other Coffee shops so that was a pleasant surprise. More bang for your buck! The drink was extremely good, I tried to make it last longer, but it was that tasty that I couldn't stop sipping! A nice touch was when reaching the pick up area, they confirm your ordered items with you before they hand anything to you, which for me is a perfect touch to the pick up experience because I've been handed wrong items at other drive thru Coffee shops. Lastly, since it's new to Sioux Falls, pack some patience because the lines may be a bit long but so worth it. I will definitely come here again! The workers are kind of a hit or miss with their attitude. Sometimes they are rude and treat you like they only care about if you top and watch you pick your tip choice on the ipad. If you don’t tip they say thanks then walk away real quick. I don’t know about yall but my mama taught me to be respectful no matter what! Other times they are very kind and seem to actually want to have a conversation. Now when someone they know comes through the line, that’s a whole different story. They sit and talk for a good 5 minutes with a whole morning rush behind in line! I don’t care if it’s the bosses day off and they wanted to come say hi or if it’s yo mama! It all stared at 7brews…. I order and pay for my drink just like another day not aware that my day was going to be very different than what was expected. As I pull forward expecting light conversation and my drink something very different happens. The barista narrows her eyes and challenges me to a duel…. Not just any kind of duel but a rock, paper, scissors duel. I can feel it in my bones, this was going to be the most legendary battle of our time. The rules were simple but the stakes were high. If I win and I get an upgraded drink. If she wins I leave a good review. We start with rock…. Then paper…. Then scissors……. Aaaaannnddd SHOOT! She throws scissors and I throw rock!!! I win!! I receive my reward and as I am driving away, sipping my “Boo Raspberry 7Energy” I can honestly say the taste of victory...
