Great pizza, great dietary options, amazing hot sauce!

This place is basically Blaze, but locally owned and operated, with better everything, and nicer people (sorry Blaze). First off, my craft your own pizza was phenomenal on its own merits. Toppings were fresh, base was deliciously thin but easy to handle, and I left extremely satisfied. Second, I try to do the vegan thing when possible and I didn't feel like I was missing out on anything here. Full portions of toppings without having to prompt them for more, everything was very tasty and clearly labeled, and the guy who made it (Pizzarista?) was conscientious about avoiding contamination which is great for people with allergies. Even vegan options aside, they locally source as much as they can so you can go ham, literally, and still feel good! Finally, and I do not say this lightly, they have several outstanding hot sauces! I'm the type that would rather run out of coffee than Yucateco (perish the thought either way) so I was cautiously excited when I saw the array of 5 or 6 different types below the napkins ranging from mild to "extreme". But a few dabs on different fingers while waiting for the pizza and I was ecstatic! Mango Bonney, Garlic Habanero, and Ghost Pepper are not to be missed for the spicy enthusiasts. Love that they branched out from the more common mango habanero combo, and after several times of getting burned (haha) I am always impressed by any company that can make a tasty anything with ghost peppers. I would and will go back just for the sauces alone, but oh my they even sell them separately for take home!

PizzaRev was a new experience for me. I don't get to Sioux Falls more than maybe once every month or two. PizzaRev is near the top of the list if I'm stopping to eat. The pizza is fired in the oven right in front of you. You could stand there and see the pizza every step of the process if you really wanted. Someone told me it's like Subway for pizza. Every pizza place is like Subway if you think about it because you can pick and choose all your toppings, but when you actually go here you can see exactly what they mean. They have a large variety of toppings and some toppings you WILL NOT FIND in other places. The thin crust is always nice and crispy and the toppings always fresh. Best pizza within a 100 mile radius in my honest opinion. Prices are actually very good if you like a good number of toppings. (Toppings do not increase the pricing if you create your own pizza)

Price, quality, and flavors are all a solid A+

Side note - the spicy sauce and spicy pepperoni are NOT insanely hot, but add a nice kick! Highly recommend using the spicy over the regular. Don't be modest on...

The only problem with the place is the owner Todd Porter. Dude doesn't pay his workers nearly enough or offer full time benefits or even decent health and safety protections. He constantly complains about how enough isn't being done yet never actually comes to the store in person to see how everyone busts their butts to provide the quality food & service they're known for. Its real easy to complain when you're not on the front lines. Especially when he can only send his wife to do his dirty work for him, scrutinizing the most inconsequential nonsense to report to him. Back when I worked there, she actually complained about me washing dishes when we were out of clean ones during a rush and told me I should be on the food line or running orders out. Maybe if these two had ever worked the position they'd be less uptight. These workers put their all into what they do and get treated way too unfairly in return. I hope they unionize and form a cooperative because they deserve better than what they're getting.

The food is fantastic,...

Was not what I was expecting. I was expecting a mom and pop made from scratch type of pizza shop. This is a overpriced franchise with pizza and calzones, that were overpriced and lacking in flavor and tastes. 2 calzones and 2 small drinks set me back $27.00. That was one of the most expensive lunches I've ever had. The meatballs were basically pre-cooked pieces, bag cheese and "calzone molds" that they used to shape the calzones. I would have rather gone accross the street to the mall and gotten Sbarro for a third of the price and just as good. Lastly, no real untinsels. No big deal but cutting that calzone crust with a plastic knife was quite a chore and my calzone was basically cold halfway through from taking so long to cut it up. There is no way I can recommend this place to a friend.

Good food and great Vegan options. They have Vegan Beyond Meat sausage and Daiya Cheese and will change gloves I'd you order as to not "cross-contaminate". Update (8/26/19): When I ordered the Daiya cheese today the gentleman asked me if it was an allergy or a preference. As someone who has no allergies I still was greatly impressed as I have seen people be very shy because they have an allergy and are uncomfortable asking staff to change clothes or such. I will note the staff still changed gloves even when I didn't have an allergy which leads me to believe they don't F@$& around with allergies which is always a great sign even for those of us who don't have one.
