This was my first visit to Triggers Table & Taproom, and I wanted to share an honest but balanced perspective. I had read a mix of reviews beforehand, including some that were very negative. Personally, I didn’t find it nearly as bad as a few people made it sound, especially regarding the water. It may not have been the best, but it was definitely not the worst either, and considering I can be pretty picky about water, I didn’t think it was worth the complaints I saw in other reviews. For food, I tried the specials: Tomato Soup with Grilled Cheese ($7), as well as the Chicken Cordon Bleu ($15). The Grilled Cheese was pretty average, nothing to rave about, but the Tomato Soup was honestly disappointing. Instead of being smooth and comforting the way tomato soup usually pairs with grilled cheese, it came out thick and chunky, more like a pasta sauce, and it had way too much sugar. The sweetness felt out of place and made it hard to enjoy as an actual soup. What also stood out was the price breakdown. Since the $7 special works out to $4 for the soup and $3 for the sandwich, I felt like I got more value from the sandwich. The soup came in a small cup and, given the taste and consistency, I didn’t really understand why it was priced higher than the sandwich. Maybe it stood out even more to me because the soup itself just wasn’t good, so it felt odd that it cost more than the sandwich, which was pretty average but still better than the soup. The Chicken Cordon Bleu was also underwhelming. The chicken was very dry and tough to cut. I even tried pairing it with the mashed potatoes, the beans, and even dipping it in the Tomato Soup to see if it would help, but nothing really made the chicken any better. The sides were actually the highlight of the plate, although the beans looked like they came straight from a can, so I didn’t have high hopes for them. The mashed potatoes, on the other hand, were surprisingly good. The Cobb Salad was nicely presented, but the bowl was shallow for the price and the dressing tasted overly sweet, which may just come down to personal preference. On the positive side, the staff were kind and friendly, and there was live music that added a pleasant atmosphere. Service interactions were a bright spot in the experience. One detail worth mentioning is that I asked if mozzarella could be substituted for Swiss in the Chicken Cordon Bleu, but was told it was premade and substitutions were not possible. That did make me wonder how fresh the dish was, which might explain why the chicken came out so dry. Overall, I would describe the visit as average with room for improvement. The service and environment were genuinely nice, but the food needs some refinement, especially the Tomato Soup and Chicken. With a few recipe adjustments and a closer look at portions, I think this place could really improve its overall dining experience.

Some friends and I thought we would try out some of the food. We were impressed. Between us, we had cucumbers bacon crostini as an appetizer, then a crab cake, French dip, and a seafood sub. We were all very pleased with our meals. Everything was delicious. The service was great. You should give this little gem a try.

Went to watch local band, Mockingbird. Beer is sourced from local microbrewery Hidden Key. Had the Caprese Pesto Crostini made with Sliced tomato, fresh mozzarella, basil pesto, baguette, balsamic glaze, fresh basil, sprinkled with house garlic seasoning.

Our server was nice. Well that's where that ended. We found this place on Google and thought we'd try it out since we don't live that far. We like supporting small and new businesses. Everything started out okay until my wife and I received our cocktails. They weren't good at all. No biggie, we sent them back and I got the cherry sour and it wasn't great but I wasn't going to send another drink back. My wife just got water. The food was okay but the portions were very small. (For what we got). Then my wife asked me to taste her water. It was nasty. So I went to my truck and got her yeti water cup. They came to our table and asked what was in the cup. We told them water. Then we continued to try to enjoy our time there when they came and tried to make a big deal about my wife drinking water from her yeti. My wife got upset and tried to leave. So I just wanted to pay our bill and leave. Then they escalated the situation by the owners getting in my wife's face. This was almost a really bad situation. To be honest, I get places have rules, but the way it was handled could have been more professional. I'm not going to try to pick apart this establishment. All I will say is for a Saturday night and you only have 2 tables, I'd be trying to please everyone so they tell there friends. I guess we have different...

These people are the rudest! Please don't go there ! I've never been to a place more disgusting than this place . I had a water glass from the car because their drink where so bad ! I mean the worse ! The owner is slow and doesn't understand good food and drink. BTW they had 2 tables . No body wants to eat there . It was not a out side tumbler it was water because even their water was awful. The owner was aggressive and awful even though they only had 2 tables. The locals know that this place is terrible. They are liars, and the food sucks . Feel so sad for the servers that put up with terrible owners. They can't tell the difference between water and green waterever you claim. The problem is you ha e no customers , so the customers you have you choose to run off . Terrible food guys ! My brother choose to go to McDonald's then eat here . That should tell you something. The good reviews on here are from family. Go next door. These people didn't even kindly ask .e what was in the cup . I just had a bunch of unfriendly people approach me. I said I would leave and return my cup to the car . That didn't seem to matter , they made sure to bring out everyone to look in my cup. We tried very hard to please these people. They wanted a argument. Don't be fooled . This is a...
