The space radiates warmth and intention, creating an atmosphere that feels both grounded and elevated—exactly what a kava experience should be.

Major love to Tori, who delivers top-tier service with genuine care and good energy. Her presence alone sets the tone—attentive, kind, and always on point. She’s the kind of person who makes you want to come back, shell after shell.

What really stands out is the dedication to quality and authenticity. They serve noble kava, take pride in what they offer, and it shows—from the carefully curated vibe to the welcoming energy in the room. It's rare to find a place that balances good product, great people, and community-driven passion so effortlessly.

We visited for the first time today and have to say that as a Waynesville offering, Mountain Vibes is a big step up. Steve, the owner, was gracious, incredibly knowledgeable and even offered us a free first try at what obviously was a carefully prepared and lovingly presented cup of kava. He had so much to tell us about it and it is obvious he is in it for the passion for his product.

The interior design is impeccable. It evokes a couple of deep breaths as you walk in and everything is designed to bring you into a calm quiet space.The selection of cups, saucers, french press, etc are beautiful and such a breath of fresh air to typical kava/coffee shops. Check out the wonderful leather seating as well. What a nice retreat from the street.

In addition to kava, they offer a low-acid coffee that is delicious, Kratom teas, botanical beverages, nicely curated selection of teas, Kombucha and more. They are quite inventive and always looking for new alcohol free, life enhancing products. They are also open most nights until 10 so what a wonderful spot to go after an event.

We did not see any food there, but perhaps the hour was late and they had sold it. We will...

I've visited quite a few kava bars over the years, but this one absolutely stands out as the best by far. From the moment I walked in, I felt completely welcomed—the atmosphere is warm, laid-back, and genuinely inviting. The staff clearly know their craft and take pride in creating a space where people can relax, connect, and enjoy top-quality kava.

The kava itself? Smooth, potent, and expertly prepared. You can tell they're using high-quality product, and the care they put into every drink is unmatched. Whether you're a seasoned kava drinker or new to the experience, they’ve got something for everyone, and they’re more than happy to guide you through it.

What really sets this place apart, though, is the community vibe. It’s more than just a lounge—it’s a place where great conversations happen, where people from all walks of life come together, and where you leave feeling better than when you arrived.

If you're looking for the best kava bar experience out there, this is the spot. I can’t wait to come back.
