Carlos' Beer Garden — Restaurant in Webster

Im not from the Houston area so i was not familiar with this establishment but i evidently was in the minority. Since I've been there if i happen to mention it around people they have all been there. Im not a huge beer drinker(i prefer harder stuff) but i dont really mind it so much when its with food especially when that food is a multiple thousand calorie burger which is pretty much what was provided at the B.G. Im kinda a wierdo as far as food is concerned. Theres nothing I'd rather eat than a med rare rib-eye but after that my favorite food would have to be a badass sandwhich or burger and all b.s. aside their burgers there are really really good. The couple girls behind the bar were doing a fine job making sure no one went without and the guy on the grill did a great job as well. If there could be one no 2 potential drawbacks its this. No a/c, whuch doesnt bother me but might bother some and the second is the proximity to the Webster police station. I know first hand what d÷&$: those guys are as they once deemed it necessary to take me to jail for some green dust in a bag that couldnt have weighed a milligram so they probably have a firing squad ready if youre under the influence and driving. Went for Steak night, first time here, so not sure what to expect, had no problem finding a table, lots of big tables inside and out, we sat down and was quickly asked our drink orders. Menus are on the tables, and was able o place an order when our drinks were brought. I had the grilled fish tacos and my husband had the steak special. We also tried the fried pickles. Pickles were OK, I have had better. Tasted like frozen ones, heavily battered. My fish tacos were Ok, the ordered comes with two. they come on corn tortillas, which is fine for me, but some people prefer flour, if so you may need to let server know this as I was not asked my preference. Fish tasted good, but, they come with no sides. My husband steak was very large, as was the baked potato. Flavor was good and for the price he thought it was good. Not the most tender steak, but not bad. We will come back, as we like the laid back, family...

Went there this past weekend for the "All you can eat Crawfish" and I gotta say I was very disapointed. The first serving me and my wife got was horrible, the crawfish was very mussy, the lines were extremely long and the owner (Adolpho) came off as a prick. To top it off, this so called " All you can eat" was bullshit, what he should be calling it is "eat what you can, while it last". Seeing People turned away because there isnt any left, is wrong especially when the flyer says "all you can eat" on it.
