Bergenline Pizza — Restaurant in Union City

The pictures and descriptions on the online menu are super misleading. The Caesar salad was shredded lettuce, grated parm, and 1mm sized croutons. I don't even think it was romaine because why on Earth would you shred romaine lettuce all up like that. Never, in all my 20 years of restaurant service, have I seen a Caesar salad with shredded lettuce. 🤣 The picture clearly shows large pieces of romaine and shaved parmesan. The menu says the chicken wings are breaded and fried, as if they bread them there when they are clearly pre-fab little wingettes from a bag they just cook off really quick and look NOTHING like the menu, for $9. The alfredo chicken pasta was just not good at all. Absolutely no flavor. Now, this is not an Italian restaurant and I was not expecting it to be of that caliber. I was so hungry I said oh well I'm just going to eat it, and after two bites I realized there was an eyelash in it. The pasta was $13.50. I took that back for a refund. The worst food I've ever attempted to eat. Waited 1.5 hours for delivery, plus i received 3 phone calls from delivery guy to find my address ??? I wish they never found me. I received a store bought Stromboli (like from Sam's club) that was overcooked and had no filling. A soggy overcooked order of ravioli, and a side order of yet another store bought frozen bag of meatballs (disgusting). My chicken parm dinner consisted of chopped pieces of cutlet with cheap greasy mozz cheese dumped on top. I requested my spaghetti on the side cause I don't like to chop up my spaghetti when I cut the chicken parm. It came on the side but with no sauce on it !! I repeat No sauce on it !! Plain spaghetti with a pad of butter on it. I don't have words to explain this. Do yourself a favor and go buy a dollar store Frozen pizza and a can of chef-boy-ardee and enjoy, it will be 10x better...

It was about 10:00 pm when we arrived at our hotel. We were traveling from DC, got into NJ and needed a bite. We ordered fettuccine Alfredo. Two words absolutely disgusting! Inedible, it appears they put the pasta in boiled milk, no salt, no pepper, the same for the chicken. I’m gagging just thinking about it. I have pictures, it was so gross I wouldn’t eat it someone paid me a million on a dear. We had to order from La Mia Cucina and it was FANTASTIC I’ll write a review for them. Take pride in your work, treat your customers right, even if it’s you last customer of the night. Don’t take the order if you cannot follow through.
