Very good pastries. I ordered a dozen donuts online and specificed in the special instructions box if they can include 5 jelly donuts since there wasn't an option to check for jelly......and lord and behold there were 5 jelly donuts included in my order. Not only was I happy about that, the customer service was very friendly too. The donuts in general were great, from the blueberry filled to the Bavarian creme although my favorite was easily the blueberry fritters. My cousin had gotten a lemon filled donut and said it was the best lemon donut he ever had.... although that's not saying much. What stood out to me the most was that even after sitting out at room temperature for a day, the donuts were still as soft as they were when we got them. They didn't seem to get hard like donuts from Dunkin if my memory serves me correctly. Downside is that the donuts are pricey but given that these donuts taste way better than anything you get at chains like Dunkin or Tim Hortons, I'd gladly pay the extra for sweets at this place.

Ordered online the evening before for 0700 pick up. Arrived and walked past the line inside to the pick up counter. Employee searched for order but could not find them on the shelf. She ended up just grabbing a box and getting the donuts for me. Not a very efficient system in my opinion. The fritters (blueberry and maple bacon) were both good. The raspberry filled donut was a bit disappointing. Not much jelly inside, and it seemed more compote like than actual. The actual donut itself was really good. I think next time I would skip the fancier donuts and go with the basics. Actually stopped back by 10 minutes before they closed because it was so busy in the morning I didn’t actually get to see the donuts and other pastry options. My order from the morning was sitting on the shelf all by itself. I did inform the employee that they had already been picked up earlier that morning.

We were lucky enough to catch this place on the day we were leaving to head home. They didn't open until Thursday. I understand the hours, I just wish they were open for more of our stay since it was so good. They may be known for their donuts, but don't sleep on their breakfast sandwiches. They were amazing and very reasonably priced. I wish we could have attended the Congdon's After Dark, but breakfast Thursday was all we could be in town for. We did take some donuts for the trip home, and they absolutely did not disappoint. They couldn't guarantee that there was no cross contamination with nuts, but they were great at recommending better options for my daughter's nut allergies. I highly recommend it if you're in the area. Don't be scared of the line out the door. They move it very fast.

Awesome food. Don't go if counting calories! Family owned and long standing reputation for excellent service and food. Every possible combination you could think of, including plain to maple bacon crunch,. Sandwiches, scones, bagels, breakfast bowls, fritters, fritter combinations, muffins, etc. Check online for their full menu. Not sure about ordering ahead. You have to be there to place order. At least that's what I saw. They even have tshirts, mugs, etc. Bake daily. Open around 6am and closes at 2, every day. Even had a sign for when limited flavors available. I was there at 730 and had a slight line. In and out pretty quick. About 10 minutes for me. There were around 5 or 6 people on the counter. You order, pay, and then go set in waiting area for them to call name. 6 donuts for around $18. Around $10-20 for sandwich or bowl. Even gluten free donuts. If your looking for an amazing donut... huge, fluffy, fresh...this is the place you want to go. My favorites were the honey glazed donut holes. Lots of room for parking.3 parking lots with some handicap places right up close to the building. They even have cocktails and beer and special donuts for that too! Some umbrella covered tables and picnic tables, and even a canopy covered set of long picnic tables within walking distance of place. Even if there is a line, sooo worth the wait! Well deserving of their reputation! The lines can sometimes look daunting but it moves pretty fast. And from 4 - 8, they have food trucks from all over plus one of their own for pick and choose whatever you feel like eating . They call it Congdon's After Dark. Every late afternoon during the season. If you are in the area, you really should go try it. I'd give this place 6 stars if they had that...

Congdon's Doughnuts offers a delightful experience that’s hard to match. We recently ordered half a dozen donuts, and every single one was fantastic. The classic flavors were spot on, and the creative varieties were a real treat. Paired with their coffee, which was equally excellent, it made for a perfect morning.

However, one aspect of the visit fell short—the blueberry donut beer. Intrigued by the unique concept, I decided to give it a try, but unfortunately, it wasn’t to our taste. None of my friends enjoyed it either. The blueberry flavor just didn’t come through in a way that complemented the beer, which was disappointing considering how well everything else was executed.

Despite the beer mishap, Congdon's remains a must-visit for anyone in the area. The real highlight is the overall experience, from the fresh morning donuts to the lively food truck scene in the evening. The combination of delicious pastries and the vibrant atmosphere makes Congdon's Doughnuts a spot worth visiting again and again. Whether you're grabbing a coffee and a donut to start your day or returning later for some food truck fare, this place has something...
