Starbucks — Restaurant in Weslaco

Where do I begin? If I could give zero stars I would but…

My visit to this location has been the most unprofessional visit in my years of going to Starbucks. I ordered a venti drink from the drive thru but received a grande instead. The gentleman who took my order was very polite when I made him aware of the incorrect size, however the female making the order immediately showed her frustration. You could see it all over her face from outside the window. It was such poor customer service and I didn’t expect it from such an organization.

It get worse!!!!!!!

She quickly comes back with what is supposed to be the “correct order” and from a glance I could tell something was off about it but proceed to not hold up the line in the drive thru. It was discovered after taking a few sips that this female worker loaded the venti cup with whip cream at the bottom, poured the same small beverage inside and then piled more whip cream on the top to make it appear that it was remade in the right size. What a joke!

I called the store and spoke to Oscar who was the manager for the day. He advised he knew who the employee was and he would talk to her but refused to provide her name for my review. I truly hope she is properly addressed for this for the next customer’s sake. I’ve worked in customer service for years and this was completely unacceptable!

My first time at this Starbucks, had a very bad service by a female manager. She made my drink and it tasted so bad. She was in the process of training someone today. I was working away from home today. I also witnessed a lady opening her bathroom door waving for someone to help her. I got up to assist her and she mentioned that there wasn’t any paper in the bathroom and if I could get some for her. I asked the same manager which was busy making drinks. She had no urgency and it took almost 20 mins to get a roll of toilet paper from the back. After getting up again I noticed no one had attended to her. After 22 mins she stuck her head out again. She asked me if I could get some napkins for her. I then reproached same manager and mentioned that she didn’t have the keys while rolling her eyes at me and having a side conversation with her staff. I WILL NEVER COME BACK HERE AGAIN! I hope people read this post and do the same. Totally unacceptable as a management professional to do this. Poor lady was in the bathroom for almost 30 mins...

1-10-23 2:08pm When I used to live near by here I would somewhat constantly stop by, only issue is the long wait in line. There isn’t much space so even exiting takes a while. Customer service is great though.

Last time I was here my fiancé and I were getting our usuals, when someone in front of us decided not to take a specific drink. A Venti Strawberry Açaí with raspberry dragonfruit and extra lemonade on the bottom. So they asked if we’d like to take it(free obviously they can’t throw it out it’d be a waste) we took it and my fiancé loved the drink.
