Jake's Pizza Company — Restaurant in West Cape May

Asked if they had personal pizzas. Register guy pointed to the menu in my hand, & sarcastically said, "Um no!" As if saying," you have a menu don't you!" That should've been my 1st & only red flag to leave!!! Ordered for eat in. Was told by register guy(which was rude, rushed, & sarcastic), that it would be 45min wait. We decided to wait. About 20 mins went by & I decided to ask how much longer. Just to see if they even started the order; plain cheese pie & a salad. Cook guy was rude in answering, "I'm about to start it now!" I asked him, respectfully,not to start it and could I have my money back?. He rolled his eyes. The whole conversation happened through a screened window bc we were sitting outside. We could hear everything going on in there & the guy was talking s@#t bc I asked for my money back! Which btw, was $30.00!!!! For a small plain pizza & salad!!!! Do yourself a favor & find an establishment that actually cares about their customers & the reviews that could come forth from interacting with them! I found a better pizzeria later with great food, customer service, and reviews!!! And I only paid $27.00 for 2 slices(which you can't get at Jakes. No slices allowed per register guy), fries, cheesecake, empanadas, and rice!!!!! BUON...

My large family and I went into this establishment to get pizza after a Long Beach day. The Asian female behind the counter had a nasty attitude since the get go. I will say we were racial profiled since the minute we arrived, because we were Latinos in a white neighborhood ? When we asked if someone else could help as she got bother for every question we had, she said get out before I call immigration. With all due respect the Asian female had a very heavy accent and obviously a migrant as well. I was in disbelief this words came out of her mouth in front of the “owner” and he just said I’m sorry smirking. This is disgusting behavior I should have known something was off since there was nobody eating there meanwhile other restaurants were full on this summer busy weekend at Cape May. My friends and I started off our evening attempting to homemake pizza. We are in air bnb and didn’t have flour. So we made the decision anyone would and ordered pizza take-out instead. To say that was a life changing decision is an understatement. 15 minutes after calling we picked up our pizza and were greeted by the carrier of this life changing pizza. The aroma of this pizza filled the car and it was delightful. Our excitement grew as we opened up the box. We sat down and devoured the pizza that may be the best pizza I have ever had. We are from an area with a lot of good pizza, but nothing compares to these slices of heaven. If I could give this place 20/5 stars I genuinely would.
