My family and I visited IHOP for brunch on Easter Sunday (around 1:15 PM). Although we were informed of a 20-minute wait time, we were pleasantly surprised to be seated in about 10 minutes. However, we were placed at the very back of the restaurant near the area where booster seats and cleaning supplies were stored, which didn’t feel very welcoming. Our server seemed a bit disengaged and appeared tired or uninterested, which affected the overall service experience. It took about 45 minutes for our food to arrive, and by then we were quite hungry. We had specifically requested not to have French toast on the side, but it was still served and included on the bill. Fortunately, we were able to have it removed without issue. In terms of the food, the quality didn’t quite match what we’ve come to expect from IHOP. The starter platter was over-fried, nearly burnt. Pancakes lacked their usual fluffiness, and the French toast didn’t meet expectations either. The egg scramble was okay but rather bland. On the positive side, the hash browns were good, and our child enjoyed the burger. One thing we feel needs immediate attention is the cleanliness of the restrooms, which were unfortunately dirty and had a strong odor. We understand holiday weekends can be overwhelming, but we hope our feedback is helpful. With a little more focus on food quality, cleanliness, and warm, attentive service, the experience could be much more enjoyable.

Hadn't been to IHOP in a long time and had never been to this location. I walked in the door they look busy. A guy that was leaving said "not much wait and the food was great better than usual". I thought well that's good nope we got there too late. I was 10:40 party of 2 we waited half hour to get a table we waited almost another half hour for the food. The pancakes were not hot with a tiny bit of butter, the ham was burnt and dried. I asked the waitress for some more butter and she bought back the butter that was very cold and hard. Wouldn't melt because the pancakes weren't hot. The waitress never came back to see if we needed something and we had to flag her down to get our check. Manager kept walking around looking for places to seat people. While there were no tables to seet he could have been refilling people's drinks and asking them how they're doing but no. It was obvious they were short staffed like every other place. I doubt I'll try IHOP again.

This is my second time here and I was kinda just as disappointed as the first time. Stood up front for a while before running to the restroom (toilets low, very smelly) and back to the front for someone to notice I was there. Lady sat me and was gone. Another lady came to take my order but wasn't really sure about the meal option set up. I got my food but part was missing. She moved so fast I couldn't tell which if either lady she was. A part was missing and after waiting 5 minutes I went looking for someone. After several excuse me's I was just like hellllloooo is a pretty raised voice to get someone to appear and provide the rest of my meal. Although the hasbrowns were not on the original plate there was scraps of it as though it had once been there. Fairly empty, food was okay at best. No longer hungry but won't be back.

Typically I don't like giving bad reviews but I'm actually going to enjoy this one.

We've been going to this location for several years. And I have to say it's usually been 50-50 whether I would give it 0 stars or maybe 3 stars. On a rare occasion 4, and that would just be because we are lucky enough to get a good server.

Today is the day I chose to write a review because it was that bad. Whether it was because it's the day after Christmas, maybe some people didn't show up for work, or they just didn't prepare, it was a disaster. I'd also like to call out probably one of the worst servers I've ever experienced anywhere, Ashley. Slow, and really indifferent about how poor the service was.

We did notice that everyone seated either prior to us or even after us not only received their food before us but we're also leaving in most cases before we even received your food. We also noticed the table directly next to us had been vacated by the last patrons. Dirty dishes filled half with food, half filled glasses, napkins. The table was like that when we sat down. We were at her table for approximately an hour and nobody had cleared that table. I'm not pointing that out because it was gross, I'm pointing it out because there was one of several tables around us and nobody was cleaning off and they had people waiting for tables. None of it made sense.

We waited approximately 35 minutes for food to get to the table. We also noticed that Ashley was given a table of 15 people in addition to ours. Noticing that, I had asked the host as he was walking by if he could check on our order. He came back and let us know that the manager was pulling it out of the window right then and there and we should get it in a minute. Approximately 10 to 15 minutes later we got our food. It was cold and it wasn't that great. Even for IHOP standards.

The only bright spot was this. The host took 50% off of our bill. We thanked him for that and I assured him that we didn't have issue with him. None of it was his fault. We did have a pretty big issue with Ashley. Here's why.

Anytime she came to our table, which was 3 times in over an hour, she would explain why there were such delays and basically made her problem, our problem. Whether it was her fault, her manager's fault or poor planning in general, when somebody gets a party of 15 to 20 people, they should not be waiting on other tables. So anytime she would come to the table and say, "I'm sorry it took so long your drink refills I just had to take care of like 20 other drinks", that's not my problem. Don't explain to me why it took 10 minutes to get 3 refills.

I am very understanding of busy and out of ordinary circumstances. This was over the top. I felt the host made an attempt to make it right and for that, it was appreciated. I'm not a complainer. I don't look for freebies. That's not my style. However, I do pay attention. This sucked. And in probably one of only two cases have I ever done this before, but there was 0 tip left because there was 0 tip deserved. As much as I hate saying that, that's how bad this was.

Here's the thing. When I see a server or somebody waiting on me is overwhelmed, I am very patient. I even like to be encouraging. I like to tell the person to "hang in there", or "have a good day", or "hope your day gets better". They need that. I'm sure they've got enough jerks giving them the business. That doesn't help anyone, ever. But I do that when I see somebody is making an effort. I have a lot of respect for people who bust their ass.

Would I go back? I don't know. I've been there several times. It would take a lot for me to want to go back. It's a chain. Servers come and go. There's good days and there's bad days. If I do go back, I can assure you I will pay attention that I do not get the same...

A Wonderful Dining Experience at IHOP!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at IHOP on Cox Road in West Chester, Ohio. I can't express how impressed I was with the overall experience. From the food to the exceptional service, IHOP exceeded my expectations.

The menu had a wide variety of options, and everything we ordered was cooked to perfection. The pancakes were light and fluffy, the eggs were cooked just right, and the bacon was crispy and flavorful. The kitchen staff takes pride in their work..

Our waitress, Laurena, played a significant role in making our dining experience memorable. Her service was nothing short of fantastic. Despite being shorthanded, she managed to provide attentive and friendly service with a smile. Laurena's positive attitude and warm personality added an extra layer of enjoyment to our meal. She promptly met all our needs.

The entire staff works together seamlessly. Despite being busy, everyone was on their toes and hustling to create a pleasant atmosphere for the guests. The general manager was onsite, and her presence made a noticeable impact on the restaurant's overall vibe.

In a world where good customer service can be hard to come by, IHOP demonstrated excellence across the board. The dedication of the staff, from the kitchen to the waitstaff and management, truly shone through. I left IHOP with a full belly, a smile on my face, and the satisfaction of knowing I had experienced top-notch service and delicious food in a world I hardly recognize these days.

I highly recommend IHOP to anyone looking for a delightful dining experience. Whether you're a pancake enthusiast or craving a hearty breakfast, IHOP will impress you. Thank you to Laurena and the entire IHOP team for making our visit enjoyable! Keep up the great...

Came in the day after Thanksgiving around 6:30am. 3rd shift was working. There was a homeless guy sleeping in the entrance. Stood there for over 10 min in an empty restaurant before the waitress came out to seat us. Then took another 10 min to get drinks. The whole time she kept sitting down in the both across from us and complaining about the day shift waitress that was coming in. Fast forward about 30min later our food comes out at least what she remembered to put in for us. The food was cold and the pancakes were raw in the middle. I tried to.let her know about the missing items and the pancakes but she just kept complaining about the day shift. Then marched out the front door yelling that she was done and telling everyone goodbye. The day shift waitress apologized and found out about the missing items and the state of the food we were given. She went to the back to have the day shot cook get it taken care of. About 10 min later back in comes the 3rd shift waitress. She then comes to us and tells us not to talk to the 1st shift waitress because she's not the one that seated us. I told her you walked out saying goodbye and left us still waiting on our food and everything. So what are we to think or do. She got mad said a few things and stormed out again. The day shift called the manager to.let him know what happened and he talked with me on the phone. He had the waitress take down my information so he could apologize for the issue by comping our next meal and send us a coupon for all the trouble. That was over a month ago and not a word from him. After seeing the reviews this place has I'm not surprised about everything for the exception of how is it...
