Waffle House — Restaurant in West Chester Township

They tried to overcharge me and gaslit me when I told them the total was incorrect. When I go to Waffle House, I don't expect good service, nor do I expect them to be good at math, but they were blatantly overcharging and trying to gaslight me. My ticket the items we ordered and they were not written as menu price, it was more. I added up the ticket items from the ticket they hand wrote, and the total came out to $10.75, while the waitresses written total was $13.98. They literally could not add written numbers in a calculator and write it correctly. The lady at the register added them up 3-4 times and kept coming up with a total $0.75 more. Seriously, you just punch the numbers in the calculator! Aside from that, I was being charged for items I did not receive. Look, it's a cheap meal and I get that. It's not about loss of money, but principle of wrongly trying to scam their customers for a few bucks more on each ticket and gaslighting them when it's brought to their attention. The lady snipped at my husband and I and yelled at us that our total was incorrect that we added up. I'm sorry, I was literally just adding the numbers they wrote. Just came in at 530am on a Monday morning... sorry to say this is the 3rd time coming here and all times it was a bad experience from racism to pure laziness. we were the only people here.. once we came in and sit down they stated "we are only doing take out orders".... umm ok I thought you were 24 hours.... but I digress... they proceeded to be short and complaing about working the previous evening... needless to say we will not be returning..they had 0 customers there was no excuse for sending up away... and the audacity to give me a look when I didn't tip after having me pay for the food before I even received it... because trust if we would of had good service you would of had a good tip... goodluck to this location hopefully it gets managed better in the future.

Ps: The second we left to eat in out vehicle she was running around playing and chatting on her phone and the cook went to the back to hide.... glad you have the energy to talk on the phone on company time instead of serving the customers the keep the lights on great priorities..

I came here today about 10:45 am thinking that I had settled for wafflehouse. granted these people are doing their jobs, I was completely blown away by the incredible service of their staff at this location. I know people are thinking it's just waffle house. and it is just a waffle house. the service was very strongly overpowered by the genuine friendliness of the staff. our server Christina was beyond the requirements of any server I've encountered in a long time. my wife and my drinks never emptied once, the food while was the basic wafflehouse options not only came to us in a timely manner its was perfectly done special thank you to the cook that was there. their ability to recognize regular customers, not us, only proves that the staff at this location and time are above their requirements. with all that being said I am unfortunately limited on my stars im allowed to give otherwise I would give more. Christina thank you for your kindness and abilities as a staff member there. this will be the only waffle house I will be going to from...
