Buddy's Burgers, Breasts & Fries — Restaurant in West Chester

Cool little spot & the burgers (most of them) are great!!

I have eaten here a few times some dine in and some take out, this time i tried to order online @ 8:30 (website & google says they close @ 9 & 2:30) Placed an order @ 8:30 & when all done it said that they were not taking online orders (as a restaurant guy this means that they shut the online ordering down 1/2 hour before they close) Tried to call to place an order since i was already on my way there & there was no answer Pulled up front and parked & walked in to find 2 others waiting for their food.

Placed my order to a very unfriendly cashier & everybody seemed very annoyed that we were ordering food to go.

Got home & they had forgotten 2 of the extra sauces that we ordered, i have a burger with 2 patties, bacon & avocado that was awesome, cooked perfectly & it was even wrapped in foil which i like because it presses everything together and softens the delicious seeded bun, also got a cowboy (?) burger that was pretty bad.. dry and overcooked with little to no toppings or sauce!

Onions rings were great & so were the fries which is a testament to a good hand cut fry that’s sent to go.

Great burgers for the price. Is it a steakhouse burger? No. It’s like $5. For a $5 burger, it was awesome. Soft seeded roll. Easy to customize. Fries were under $5 and they were boardwalk style fries. Got old bay (covered in old bay not just 1 shake on the top like other places) and paid the $1 for white cheddar. The white cheddar wasn’t the best Ive had, but it’s was well worth the $1 and I’d get it again. Chicken fingers were better then some but not as good as others. They were $6 and well worth $6. The ranch I got to dip them in was AWESOME. Lots of herbs. High quality ranch. All told my burger, fries w cheese , chicken fingers and black and white shake was enough for 2 (provided no one is a huge eater) and well worth the all in $27 inc delivery $3 and tip 15%. Much cheaper to order from than DD or GH. Where do I start? Cashier taking my order was not friendly. Saw the kitchen I'm the background and there's was too many people for only a hand full of customers.

Putting that aside, I came in for the food so let's talk about it. Ordered a Little Buddy (1 patty burger) w/cheese & fries.

When they called out my name, said thank you to the man that placed my burger on the counter (almost felt like he threw it), and there was no "sure" or "of course", nothing. I think local restaurants should be the ones crushing it with customer service since they are a "starting" business. Not the case with this one at least.

Now, burger & fries. Looked very promising. Burger was ok, felt like they only put a $0.10 of cheese in my burger, only tasted it on 2 bites. Fries were not bad, although very soggy and looked like the oil they were fried in was kind of old now, that or the potatoes themselves...left some fries at the end, when I never do.
