I have been here like three times. Wow. That grilled bronzino is outstanding! Yes. I’m gonna show you a picture. It is one of the best servings of fish I have eaten. So simple yet so freakin good. I am already planning how many times each month I am going there. And the sides are also simple, colorful, crunchy and good for you! This is a very heathy meal and for me that’s critically important. I have changed my diet in the past few years to avoid salt and sugar and focus on healthy choices. Four legs bad. Two legs better. No legs best! My friend, Suki, gave me that proverb and it’s so easy. Foods with 4 legs, beef, pork are loaded with fat. Chickens, ducks are healthier choices but fish are very good sources of protein without all the fat. Go get the grilled fish atop a Taverna and feel great about lunch or dinner! The waiter was great - patient enough to explain what’s in all the choices I did in recognize. Well done, Opa Taverna! My photo includes salad greens with a vinaigrette and the Athenian salad with grated carrots and cabbage lick crunch veg in vinegar. Both excellent, simple and healthy! I’m going to Greece next trip.

Food- 5/5 Service- 5/5 Ambiance- 5/5 Drinks- 5/5 Value- 5/5 Tremendous. Fantastic. Everything about our meal was amazing. Stopped in for a birthday celebration over the weekend and not only did this place not disappoint, they were stellar. The food was amazing. Forgot to get pictures of it all, but my lamb and beef gyro was really good. The tzatziki sauce had great flavor and texture. Also everybody needs to get the opa chips. Those things are amazing; wonderfully crunchy and full of flavor. And then they provide more tzatziki sauce for dipping. Perfection. We all tried a variety of drinks and they were very well done too. A good mix of flavors made it fun to try out different drinks. Lastly, our server Stefanos (don’t know how to spell) was fantastic. They should give him a raise. He made sure our drinks were never dry, our waters were always filled and was extremely patient in helping answer any questions we had about the menu. He had fun banter with our loud group and really helped make the night even more fun. We will definitely be going back again.

Great drinks, good food, decent service, and a pretty atmosphere. The food here is pretty damn good especially if you get anything with lamb. The zucchini fritters were ok maybe a bit under cooked, and the spiced orange cake for dessert was very enjoyable. The cocktails were delicious, my favorite was the butterfly lavender lemon drop. The catcher in the rye was good but I felt ripped off a bit because I didn't get the egg white foam and half the drink cup was filled with a large ice cube. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and service. When we got there there was practically no one in there so it felt like we had the place to ourselves but by the time we left it was full up on a Tuesday. The decor was calm and relaxing. I'll definitely have to go back to try more food and drinks.

Used Doordash to have my food delivered. It took an hour at 4pm on a weekday. My driver was very polite and friendly but basically said she wasn’t interested in waiting around for 20 mins to receive the food. So she cancelled. The next driver also communicated with me that the restaurant was running “behind” but at this point we were half hour beyond the promised time. He cancelled too. By the time the third driver accepted my delivery I felt compelled to give him heads up on what’s been happening. And here’s the kicker: he conveyed to me that the staff (comprised of 2 young women) basically stood around playing on their phones and apparently they gave the poor driver major attitude, rolled their eyes with dismay and said “Ugh, that order.” When he inquired how long he would have to wait for it, they said about half hour. At this point, I’ve lost it, called Doordash and got my money back. It goes without saying experience would make anyone feel disrespected (those drivers wasting their time and not getting paid for waiting) and like my money wasn’t welcomed or appreciated. Oh well, I’d gladly take it somewhere else. I made a point when walking pass Opa a week later to stop in and speak to the manager but guess what, I was motioned to some middle aged woman with long black hair (no hairnet-yuck) and was told she would be right with me but she took another 5 minutes to even acknowledge me at which point I said “never mind” and left :( This was my second time trying this place but...

Can I give them a million stars?

My husband and I love Opa to start so the rest isn’t surprising but it just shows how wonderful they are.

The last few weeks we have been so busy, we have so many balls in the air and I have been exhausted. I said to my husband tonight “all I want tonight is delivery from Opa” at 645pm we ordered on Uber Eats. At 8:20pm the Uber Eats driver hands my husband a bag and he brought it inside as I was finishing putting our toddler to bed.

We opened the bag and inside was a cheese burger, cold fries and a cheese steak from god knows where. I was literally in tears. I called the Uber eats driver and he hung up on me, I called Uber eats and they said someone would email me in 48 hours and would do nothing else. I called the restaurant and asked if it was still there and they said no but then put me on hold. Someone named George came on the line and said a new order would be ready as fast as they could make it. I was tire and hungry but this was the nicest thing anyone had done for me this week. My husband got in the car and drove the 25 minutes (each way) to get the food.

At 10:15pm we sat on our deck and when I say their food made my entire week better I am not lying. I was tired, hungry and just done but one bite of the moussaka and my entire weekend was saved my husband’s pastitsio was also so so good along with our other items.

I can’t thank them enough for just being amazing, we are...

Have eaten here 4 times so far. First 3 times were excellent-fresh food, attentive service. Great presentation. This 4th visit was not like the first 3. Perhaps they were short of staff (?). We bought a couple of bottles of wine with us. Our server offered to chill one of our bottles in their refrigerator while we enjoyed our first bottle. The appetizers we have ordered on previous visits came to us this time underdone. We did not receive any hummus before our meal as with previous visits. Our entrees tasted great, but were either thrown onto the plates or shifted when the server brought them to us. Sloppy presentation. Otherwise entrees tasted very good. We felt pretty rushed the whole time we were there. We inadvertently left the restaurant without ever drinking our 2nd bottle of wine. We totally forgot the bottle (completely our fault). I called the restaurant first thing the next day to tell them we left our bottle in their fridge, and that we would like to come and get it. They could not find our bottle. Somehow in less than 12 hours, our bottle disappeared. I’m guessing someone else who dined there or worked there enjoyed it. We take full responsibility for forgetting the bottle. That said, it did disappear within a short period of time. Keep an eye on your wine, and if the staff seems rushed, and you feel rushed, don’t expect what they...
