This will be my last visit to THIS corner bakery. I was introduced to corner bakery this year, before I had never been a customer. I don't remember the location but I was somewhere downtown. Loved the food the energy the atmosphere everything was great. So imagine my excitement when I saw one was opening right by my job. I couldn't wait, and finally they're open. The first time I went they were super busy hustling and bustling, great energy. The next few times not so much until I met Lola. Always sweet nice helpful energetic exactly what the job minimal requirements ask of you. When Lola is not there you can tell. I went there today knowing she wouldn't be there and knowing how my experience was going to be but I really wanted those darn pancakes. I hate the kiosks I'm tech lame ill admit so I wait at the register. To no suprise lol the employee comes up and say if you want to order the kiosks are open, not hey the kiosks are open but if you need help i can assist at the register! But hey, Here we go I wait a short while, then out I go to my work place. AND BOOM Pancakes definitely were not done I couldn't even finish it. Picked one up and it just fell apart. The "syrup" taste and looked like heated down honey, then the hand off just horrible. You applied to this job came to the interview you accepted. YOU bought uniform new shoes and possibly made that post your first day. You decided this was your path at the moment don't take your nasty attitude having asz to a customer service friendly job if you come to work Bitter.    Read moreI was there last night to redeem some rewards, I called in advance because I would be arriving around 7:40pm when they close at 8:30pm. So, I just wanted to be courteous. When I arrived, there was no one to be seen—waited about five minutes and then the manager appeared with a horrible attitude. We asked for help navigating the self-service order stations, but I had no luck since I wanted to redeem rewards. I asked him for help and he was so bothered and rude. He did not want to help us breakdown orders to be able to pay with my $25 rewards, apparently rewards cannot be combined—must be separate orders, ugh!
I can honestly say that the cashier and apparently store manager DeLeon is by far—the worst experience in customer service I have ever received. I even told him that I was trying to keep cool and be patient with him. He kept being sassy, rude and combative. He was unhelpful, dismissive and mouthy!
This morning I called the store to be able to contact the regional manager—and even the employee on the phone mentioned that they get a lot of complaints about DeLeon. In fact, they also disclosed that he is horrible to the employees as well. I can only imagine!

   Read morePlaced a catering order and called cafe regarding issue with the order confirmation that I received. Spoke someone named "Iesha", who identified as the manager. From the onset of the call, she was rude, impatient and unprofessional. At one point she hung up on me. I called back and she claimed she was transferring me to her office. She did not apologize for accidentally hanging up on me, so I suspect if was not an accident. I finally tired of her attitude and told her that she was being very rude. Our company has been a catering customer of Corner Bakery for almost 20 years, and I have never dealt with such unprofessionalism. At one point she called me "sweetheart" in a very condescending tone. I let her know that was unprofessional, and she said that is how she speaks to all of her customers. She clearly did not use the term in an endearing way, which would still have been unprofessional but would not have offended me. She used it in a demeaning manner. She never acknowledged her rudeness, but instead blamed it on the fact that she was the only one there and very busy. She continued to raise her voice at me.
