So we had a bad experience here, but the manager eventually made up for it. We were unsure where to sit, and there didn't seem to be any servers so we went up to the bar to order. We ordered chicken fingers and a chicken sandwich, and waited about 30-45 minutes before we asked where our food was. They heard back from the kitchen that they didn't have any chicken, so instead of informing us they just decided to let us wait for food that was never coming. We talked to the manager and ordered meatball subs, and they actually ended up comping our food completely. The subs were great, so overall I think this is a good place to go in Union Station. Read moreIt’s good to have a place to stop and get a cold beer, while waiting for my train, nice ambiance for the most part. Unfortunately there is no food available, other than light snacks. The bartender(Lisa) wasn’t the most friendly person. She acted as if I was bothering her with my presence here and barely gave any conversation, but quite friendly with the other patrons. Sad to see this. I even gave her a second chance at redemption by ordering another round, but still got the same attitude. Maybe she was having a bad day; still no excuse. Read moreThis is my GO-2 place while in the Amtrak station on layover to grab a Italian pot roast sandwich & a cold drink! The staff we pleasant & happy to offer information on menu items. However now that I have had the Italian pot roast Sandwich it will be hard to would try anything else!! They also did a nice job of packing up a to-go order. (Lol - I enjoy my first bites so much, I had to get one to go!) I would highly recommend The Junction as a great spot to relax while getting your WiFi, food & beverages while waiting for your train.
