tl;dr -- On a late night in the city, I was very hungry and craving pizza, and in a moment of serendipity, this place was right in front of me. Phenomenal at a great price.
I left the small theater just up the road after a comedy show. I said "I could really go for a slice of pizza," and got on my phone to google pizza places. It turns out I was standing right in front of this place as I was at the fountain right there in front of the Blue Line stop. On first glance, this place made me think "this can't be the place," but then you see "SLICES" in the window.
I had two slices of pepperoni and a soda for $6. For that price, I thought it may not be that good, but enough to sooth an empty stomach. Turns out this pizza was remarkable. It was pretty fresh, the cheese was still stretchy even after a quick warmup in the oven.

I think it’s safe to say I’ll be...
Read moreI LOVE this pizza. First, you cannot beat the price - I love that he offers a cheap price for the pizza. It’s kinda nostalgic that you can walk up to a window and order two slices for $5. The pizza is good too! I love NY pizza, love when the crust is more doughy than crispy and dry, and I love that the sauce has no sweetness to it. It’s a true NY style pizza. The owner is hustling and tries to serve everyone quickly with great pizza. He’s a great guy who is just trying to spread joy through pizza and he achieved it with me. I hope everyone supports him. It’s a small open window to order so...
