To start, I was under the impression the bar closed at 2. Apparently, security thought otherwise, physically shoving customers with newly purchased drinks out the door more than 30 minutes before bar close. Men and women alike were manhandled by ONE security officer (with peeling, faded letters on his jacket) at this bar. What would have otherwise been a pretty fun night of singalongs was ruined by the over-zealous security guard who began flashing a very bright light in customer’s eyes 45 minutes before the bar was set to close, demanding they leave while other customers were still singing their requests. The security guard shoved my waiting partner multiple times while I hurried to put my jacket on. Friends and other customers convened outside to express disappointment, asking what had suddenly shifted and why we were all suddenly and forcibly removed from the bar. The karaoke host can kick rocks.

Maybe im petty but he REFUSED to let me sing Grillz by Nelly because it “is a vibe killer”…WHAT?!? Look I get it’s not the best song on earth. I know it’s not a classic like Sweet Caroline or Mr Brightside or any of those other overplayed karaoke songs he let slide…but come on man respect the request. Two different CREED songs were played that night (I was one of them) but god forbid we let Nelly make an appearance. I even explained that my entire extended family was there and this is kinda my thing and everyone will be super pumped and he just hit me with a “too bad”. Im actually mad. I pooled together $140 and the guy still turned me down. I’ve never met a karaoke host so absurdly stubborn. I hope he reads this. I hope that song follows him for the rest of his life. I hope he meets the love of his life and falls deeply in love only to find out their favorite song is Grillz.

Drinks are pretty...

I've been here a number of times, but this place is one of the most lively spots I've been to in this city for karaoke. Recently came here for a friend's birthday celebration, and we had a blast singing karaoke. In my drunken haze, I thought I lost a lip ring that fell out during the night's festivities, and Russell, the KJ, went above and beyond to try to find my missing item—he started moving tables and had other people help in the hunt as well. I ended up finding my ring at home, but it was so awesome that the staff went out of their way for me! Drinks are reasonably priced, and karaoke gets popular on the weekends, so the place gets packed and super warm temperature-wise—my hair frizzed terribly from all the body heat. However, the song selections are great, and you're guaranteed a good time. The songs between karaoke song selections are bangers, and had us dancing throughout the night. Happy to make another...
