I love the Metra Market concourse. It's not as busy as the main areas in Ogilvie Transportation Center, and there is still a ticket counter (limited hours) and a ticket machine. There is plenty to do: restaurants, bars, stores. The bathroom in the Market concourse is usually cleaner than the one upstairs, which we all know is a plus. The Ovie Bar is a nice place to get a drink while you wait for your train. You can drink in the bar, or get it to go for the train. There is a CVS so you can get anything you need. There are a hair salon and nail salon as well. But the French Market is a must see. There is a bakery with fresh bread, patisserie with yummy macarons, deli, grocery store, fresh salads and meals to grab on the go, and some great restaurants tucked away in there -- including Mexican, Vietnamese, and Indian. You can also buy fresh flowers and get some gelato! There is an area with tables so you can sit down and eat. Signs are next to each train entrance, and there are main screens too, so you can check your track and status. (Note that there are stairs leading up to the trains, so if you require an elevator you should go to the main Ogilvie entrance on Madison.) There's a lost and found office down there too, next to the...

A lobster roll, clam chowder, french onion soup, tuna sandwich, and tacos we're the selections made in my party. It was nice to be able to please everyone's taste buds in one small, indoor market especially since it was SO cold outside. If you are catching a train in downtown Chicago, this place is definitely...

The foods are pricy compared to the quality and dish portion. You can also buy fruit, get your nails done, and enjoy a milk tea here. Again, it's handy because the market is close to Union station and work offices, but for the quality, please go somewhere else. One more thing, you clothes will have the food/oil smell when...
