Giving two stars because it was comped which should tell you all you need to know. Please remove the smash burger from your menu if you’re not making it anymore. When I visited in February of 2024, it was phenomenal and worth a drive. It’s now definitely a frozen burger at best. After eating here two weeks in a row, ordering it twice and have it be the same, it’s clear the incredible burger it used to be is lost to time or laziness. There’s not a lot to compliment here other than the manager who comped the food, as we saw our waitress twice in 40 minutes, once to take the order, and once to drop it off. I’m not sure what happened here but it’s a shell of the place it was in 2024. I hope you all go back to the drawing board, as the debacle I was served was in way shape or form a smash burger. I was there two Saturdays in a row, and should of assumed by the lack of patrons that the magic was gone, as the empty number of chairs spoke volumes, especially considering one of them was a holiday weekend. Get curds and a beer, and eat somewhere else.

Been looking forward to this place before a game and the atmosphere doesn't disappoint. Definitely get there right before they open, as we did, and got seated right away. I want to give this place a better rating as the food was decent, came out fast whenever we did get served, but buyer beware, not sure if it's a game day thing they tack on a 20% grat (we were a 3-top). Our server overlooked us getting seated and we didn't get greeted for at least 15-20min. Like I said food and bev came out SUPER fast, but we had all the intention of ordering a couple rounds before the game, and had to flag down the server that did eventually help us. 2 apps, hot dog, and a round of drinks was a little over $100 because of a 20% auto grat+ 3% surcharge + Chicago taxes. Hey I get it, the Industry is struggling, but there's a way a seasoned server can handle a missed table and I always give the opportunity to make up for it, but it was just disappointing.l and not handled well at all.

Here’s the thing, this location has been on and off a bit. However, this time it seems different. If you haven’t been, it is set up as one of the best, if not THE best places to watch sports in the entire city. There are TVs galore here. Hawks, don’t bother going anywhere else this is THE spot. This will be a place where the players will certainly visit post game.

The bar alone probably seats 25. All the booths have their own TVs. The TVs are NOT so dam high they kill your neck, they are placed perfectly! The sound system is second to none, and they have the volume on for Bears, Hawks and many others. This should be your NFL Sunday spot.

They have added a back area where they are putting in golf simulators, YES golf simulators. They have Valet for $15 during Hawks games so use it! The chicken wings check all the boxes.

I hope they can establish a regular crowd here even when the UC doesn’t have something going on. I see this place capturing some college football fans. As long as it is staffed right and the kitchen can keep up there is no reason why this shouldn’t be THE place for college ball on Saturday or any day, any sport for that matter.

I hope they do well here. Support this place. I met one of the owners Spence, a real cool guy with ties to the Hawks and coaches Hockey. I got my fingers crossed...

WAS excited to try this place before the blackhawks game. Get some food and drinks and hyped for the game. SUPER DISAPPOINTED. We got sat in a corner not near any of the TVs or people all alone in a boring cold corner while there was PLENTY of other tables near the tvs and other patrons. Didn’t get acknowledged for a long time. Then when the sever was finally done flirting (also while watching many employees stand around on their phones) and came to get our order, My finance just ordered a beer, I decided to wait because I could already tell I was ready to leave. My fiance drank his beer we decided to leave since it was NOT the kind of atmosphere they advertise, what we were looking for - a fun hockey bar environment. She brings us the Toast to pay and says there’s a 3% service charge AND 20% tip already included. So now it makes sense why everyone can just stand around on their phones and socialize because they don’t have to work for the tips. Insane. Horrible experience will never be back. Too bad too, we go to a lot of united center events woulda been a nice place to visit. We’ll continue to go to Billy goat instead - where we finished our evening and had...

My husband and I are huge hockey/Blackhawk fans, so we were ecstatic to try this place! The food is excellent, but the manager is another story. We were treated extremely poorly by the manager with the grey beard and wild hair. Despite our attempts to understand the situation, he was verbally abusive and disrespectful throughout the entire encounter. Shockingly, he refused to provide any explanation for abruptly kicking us out!

Security personnel (I believe his name is Berto), was genuinely helpful and empathetic, despite being berated by the same manager in front of everyone! It's disheartening to encounter such unprofessional behavior, especially considering the security guy's efforts to resolve the issue peacefully.

This incident left us deeply disturbed, prompting me to take the time to leave this review in the first place. I hope this serves as a cautionary tale for others and prompts management to address such unacceptable behavior. The manager with the unkempt hair and grey beard has certainly earned the title of the most insolent "manager" who not only lacks self-awareness, tact, and courtesy, but missed the mark on...
