I came in with a friend , we both ordered separately on the kiosks. I ordered a single Jr Cheeseburger deluxe and a fountain drink. I waited about 5-10 minutes, my friend had already gotten their food, I told them not to wait. The restaurant was busy but not that busy, but I was trying to be patient. Finally I went up there to see what was going on with my food, they had never put the order in. Came and sat down and about another 5-10 minutes go by and I go up there again. Finally after standing there and trying to get someone’s attention, since no one really works the front counter because it’s all kiosks now… someone comes over and I asked them about the order and showed them the number that the kiosk gave me. They looked at the system again and it seems like it still hadn’t been made, I stood here for a few minutes, tried to be patient again because I knew there were other people that had just come in and were ordering. And they literally forgot about me again. At that point I just kept standing at the counter asking for any person I could get any time someone walked by. This is such a ridiculous careless scenario. Glad I remembered to take a picture of the kiosk otherwise I wouldn’t have had proof of my order and they would have just thought I was a nut off the street. Worst customer service ever, I just repeatedly kept getting forgotten. And since good customer service barely exists anymore, no one was apologetic or friendly about it. But after about 45 minutes I was finally handed a bag with my single...
Read moreMy experience with this location last night was highly unsatisfactory and disappointing as a paying customer. After paying for my food, I had asked if I could have a pack of mayo in my bag. It was then that the window was left open and I was able to overhear the rude and belittling conversation about me, the customer, for asking for a mayo pack. This employee, pictured below, was highly rude and unprofessional as she yelled out “Are you serious, do it look like we got mayo?” to which I then replied loudly “I’m not from here!”. It’s one thing to be disrespectful in private but to behave in such a manner in front of a customer who is choosing to give this restaurant business is down right shameful and unacceptable. For fear of them spitting in my food or doing anything inappropriate to my items, I decided to remain calm and polite. As much as I wanted to ask for a refund, I decided to leave without further escalating the issue or causing a commotion over a pack of mayo. As a tourist who had been sightseeing all day and just wanted something cheap and easy, I didn’t think I would be treated with such hostility and irritation, as if I was inconveniencing them by asking for mayo. A simple “we don’t have mayo packs” would’ve sufficed. I hope this experience reaches someone in leadership and also urges customers to think twice before spending money if this...
Read moreWe came here for my wife’s 30th birthday to wrap up what was a stellar evening with friends and family. What we found when we arrived was a fascinating scene. Drunk people (I plead the 5th), hungry people and overworked employees. Wendy’s corporate slogan is “good done right.” Well, I have news for Mr Dave, the food was good (it hurts now) but it wasn’t done right. Mobile orders, drive through and angry people inside overwhelmed the system. What I observed was a heroic effort by the employees to combat this chaos. One man burdened this situation by himself, overriding the digital system by manually yelling out burger and nugget quantities. He led his team through a fire bigger than the one that makes flame broiled burgers. At one point he was simply tossing out sauces to calm the nerves of the malnourished crowd. A truly heroic effort. Now more than ever before, society needs to value these heroes and I certainly will. Todd Penegor is the company’s CEO, I hope he visits this restaurant and lives a day in the life of these heroes. This review is for them. In closure, happy...
