I am editing my original review. The manager did finally reach out to me and discussed what happened. She offered a discount on my next order. Although I wish the cake had been as I ordered initially, I appreciate that the store tried to make amends by offering the discount.
Original post - Ordered a cake online for pick up for my sisterâs birthday. Paid extra for a flower to be placed on cake and paid for a message card and flag on a toothpick. When Cake was picked up it was already in a box and the box sides were taped and the toothpick flag was taped to the outside of the box. So it was not viewed in the store. Mistake number 1. When it was time to cut the cake the box was opened and there was the cake covered with cellophane with no flower, just a hole where it was to be placed, and no message card. Not the presentation I was expecting and it ruined the moment. I called the store to explain their oversight. I was put on hold for quite a bit of time and then was apologized to and told I would be reimbursed for the missing flower in about 5-7 days! It took them seconds to charge my credit card. I then received a new receipt via text with a charge for the cake and the message card and toothpick flag. Called the store back to indicate there was no message card included as well. After being on hold over 9 minutes I was told they would reimburse me for the message card, 75 cents! This was the poorest customer service ever! They ruined the birthday cake moment and could care less how their product was presented! They could have tried to save face by offering me a discount on a future purchase. I asked for the manager, who I was told her name was Sylvia, to contact me. I have not received a call from anyone. Word of advice, check your merchandise before you leave the store.    Read moreThe location is easy to find and is very cute from the outside. The staff was nice and helpful. We tried the bundtini dozen. The bundts are a bit pricey. Not a big fan of the cream cheese frosting. I feel like the cakes couldâve done better with different frostings. The chocolate chocolate chip was delicious above all the other ones had more of a muffin flavor than a cake maybe the larger bunch taste a little bit different but I wasnât impressed with the little ones we tried all the flavors And the blueberry one was really disappointing with the fake blueberry flavor and really soggy on the bottom. Everybody hates the soggy bottom Iâm not sure that I would recommend going for a special occasion. You might be disappointed if youâre looking for maybe a little dessert check it out. White chocolate, raspberry lemon, chocolate chocolate chip snickerdoodle, confetti, lemon, strawberries, and cream classic vanilla we did not try the red velvet or the gluten-free chocolate chip but the other flavors were just OK. The location had a lot of really cute little items for you whether itâs a birthday a wedding and all of that I just wish that the cakes tasted as good as all the decorations looked. We were really looking forward to it because the ratings were so high. I would have to say people are not being as honest as they should either that or they just of never had a good cake. When it was my time to order Ashley L asked what I would like and in the middle of me telling her she walks away to help another customer who was waiting. She came back to take my order and I let her know that I wanted to purchase 14 bundtlets, I asked my husband if we should get them wrapped and he said yeah. Ashley said âyouâre trying to get them all wrapped?â I asked if it was possible and she said yeah but itâs gonna be a bit of a wait which is totally understandable. She quoted us 20 mins and we paid the total of $119.00. Charisma comes from the back with attitude and asked âwhen is this for, today, right now?, what did you tell them?â Ashley advised she quoted us 20 mins and she said with even more attitude âthatâs not gonna happenâ my husband asked how long the wait would be and Ashley said like an hour in which we didnât have but Charisma said it was gonna be longer. At this point I was fed up with the attitude of the employees since they acted like they didnât want my business so I just asked for a full refund and the name of the rude employee who came from the back, Ashley stated she cannot give me her name. I believe she was a manager by the name of Sylvia came over with attitude as well and asked me âWhatâs going on?â, I explained that I wanted the name of the employee so I can make a complaint, she was also rude in giving me the employees name as well as her own.
