They were very professional and helpful and ended up buying a protection plan deal that will save me money I ended up going to the Best Buy at 17545 Gale Avenue City of Industry ended up buying a car stereo and a car alarm Viper about 2 months later it blew my horn out I had the total Tech so their head guy checked it out said the Viper Alarm was no good took it out and returned my money said it was nothing he did or it wasn't my car either it was a Viper Alarm itself couple months later Best Buy called he said he was the manager and he was very polite but he said there was nothing they can do that they had the alarm checked out and it wasn't the alarm so he wanted me to put a vote of no confidence against her installer which is their head guy I kind of like the guy so I didn't want to put him through that so I just ate the $300 myself and decided I just won't shop there anymore but you know how things go if they have a good deal on something you never know but what really got me mad is that he wouldn't give me any money off a new car alarm of a different brand he wouldn't do nothing for me but say he was sorry so I'm kind of stuck I didn't want to put their head installer to the ringer so I just decided not to go there anymore but when my temper calms down who knows I just wish they would have did something to make me feel better about shopping there and having their head guy you know do something anything but they wouldn't do anything but say they were sorry so most likely I won't shop there or buy there again what a shame that a couple hundred dollars can cost them a customer now that I cool down some I should have put the guy head staller and put a no confidence against him to make sure that he didn't install it incorrectly but you live and learn I just wish they would have did something to ease my mind other than say I'm sorry so be aware that they're not perfect over there at Best Buy they do screw up but they're going to put you through the ringers to reimburse you for anything and the guy that installed it so please be aware of this when you're deciding to buy the total package or warranty whatever they call it you know I just feel bad for the guy I tipped them a lot each time I went there which is about five times I gave him 20 to 40 bucks each time for a tip just to make sure that I would get good service on the next time and it takes a long time to get your stuff installed so don't think you're going to buy something and have it installed within a week it's going to take 3 to 6 weeks to have it installed they're very busy there for some reason I guess I just had a bad experience with them well thank you for listening to me I hope this helps you make a better decision take...

My mother had purchased a camera recommend by one of the staff members and she ended up not liking it due to the fact it did not focus well and it just didn't fit her needs. She was told that she was over the 15 day return policy and a refund was not possible. Okay, yes that's understandable but she asked if it was possible to receive store credit since she was looking to purchase another item within the company. Management quickly and rudely said no. Frustrated, she asked why it wasn't possible. Then she was told that SHE was taking up THEIR time and they have to tend to other people who actually need assistance. HOW DESPICABLE and inconsiderate is that?!!
Then what set her over was her hearing that the Manager allowed a male customer, who had a product for 60 days, a return! What is that. I know that elite best buy customers have a 45 day return policy compared to the 15 days but I didn't realize 45 days = 60 days!
She asked why he was able to get the return but not her and the manager proceeded to ignore that event even happened. My mother was in tears at this point because all she wanted at this point was store credit to make another purchase. The manager repeatedly antagonized my mother by telling her that his time could be spent somewhere else instead of being with her crying. So she left shaken and upset.
I returned upset and I went directly to him asking him for the district and regional managers names. This is information they can definitely give out. With a smugged look, he says 1-888 Best Buy. Again I asked him for that information and repeated the number again. He refused to disclose information he is obligated to give. I left disgusted.
Best buy in West Covina is the worst location I have ever been to. Manager is Andres and the associate that was also involved in this fiasco was Tod. Both employed with the company for more than a year and a half. Is this really what Best Buy wants to be represented by?!! Rude individuals who's "precious" time was wasted by a older woman who just wanted actual consideration and customer service?
Oh on a side note, when I went in to speak to someone about this incident, busy Manager Andres was Soo busy standing around talking to other Best Buy workers. After all, my mother was such and imposition to him and Tod.

I came here because it was the closet Best Buy to my new home. Normally I would go to the Glendora location, which has amazing customer service.
I took my computer to this location to be repaired because my autistic child had a meltdown and broke the screen of my computer. I am completing my masters in cyber security, so I desperately needed my computer. There is an upcoming competition I wanted to participate in because the results could help me land a career after I complete my degree. I was told the turn around time for the repair was 2-4 weeks. I was also informed that if they couldn’t repair my computer I would be issued credit for a new computer. I was told to back up my computer, and I paid them to back up my computer onto a flash drive. They didn’t back my files up correctly at all, I had no files really. That’s not the biggest issue. I called for an update on my computer because the repair time was approaching 4 weeks. I was told my computer was repaired and to pick it up.
I came on time to my appointment and had to wait for over 20 mins for an associate to return from lunch. The general manager informed me that the associate who needs to close me out wasn’t available and was on lunch. That sounds like a management problem, having available appointments when the appointment slot should be blocked off to reflect the time needed for their employees to take lunch. This was an huge inconvenience since I have a prior meeting I need to attend at 6:30 pm. When the associate finally came I was informed my computer was not repairable and was basically totaled out a week after I dropped off my computer.
I am frustrated because I called more than 3 times for updates on my computer and was told over and over again it was still being repaired. If I had known my computer was not repairable weeks ago I could have been bought a new computer and started preparing for the upcoming cyber competition. This competition could land me a career, and Best Buy caused me to lose 2 weeks of practice due to their lack of communication.
