Biaggi's has been onw of our families favorite restaurants for years, but in the past year we've noticed a constant turn in staff, and issues with food and service increasing. They've always gone out of their way to make things right, but to be honest I would prefer to just have the great food and service we used to get.
This afternoon was the last straw. We were very impressed by the kind and professional, well dressed host who got us seated. We even thought that maybe this was a good sign, seeing as a few weeks ago a really poor tempered hostess was actually fired/walked out while we were there.
The good stopped there.
Our waitress was very kind, but ahe was new and clearly not equipped to handle a slow afternoon. It was quite a long wait to order drinks, then really long to get drinks, then very very long to order. My food was brought fairly quickly, then we didn't see the waitress for 20 minutes when she said we were waiting on ny wifes food. I said well at least get my poor 6yo daughter her food...
10 minutes later we got my wife and daughter's food. But, the fresh basil we had asked for to be on the side so that it would be fresh was wilted and dried from sitting who knows how long under a heat lamp with the other food which was clear dried too. We asked for fresh basil and the waitress actually returned with a little stalk of whole basil leaves. I asked if the chef ciuld have the decency to chop it as he had the basil they scorched ubder the lamp and she scoffed and came back with some sloppily chopped basil.
The experience continued like that with no refils on drinks, or bread, and we had intended on ordering to go for my boys at home and mother-in-law but now had already spent twice as long as expected.
Sorry Biaggi's but that's enough.
We've since been back since it's our daughter's favorite but they don't seem to be able to hire staff that is competent. Is it so hard to be respectful? Twice this week we've been spoken down to. Wednesday they supposedly had too many reservations and couldn't take a party of 7, and tonight ordering togo wasn't very...
Read moreHad a reservation for 5/13, Saturday before Mother's day. Food was good. Service was terrible, had a server, took a drink order, entree order, didn't see her for the entire rest of the visit. Never checked back, didn't clear anything, ask if my daughter and I needed or wanted anything. My daughter ended up going to the bar, to get more parm cheese for her entree because, Kristen, (server) never came back. With the dirty dishes still on the table, she finally comes and asks if I care for a dessert, I said I want the check. I take the check to pay at the bar, as I am fairly upset at this point. She comes into the bar, to ring me out. I told her personally, in a calm voice, that I didn't have a great visit because of her poor service. She then berrated me in front of customers in the bar, and said well, It's Mother's day weekend, and some of us don't have mother's, and that its not all about me to my face. I don't have a mom, but I don't use it as an excuse for my job performance. Another server, Zach opened his mouth, and disrespected me also in the bar area too. I have never had any employee from ANY restaurant disrespect me the way these 2 did. Spoke to Jeff Duncan also, he pulled the Mother's day card as well, to excuse the bad service. I had interaction with 3 of this place's employees, and they were all poor, why? because I was honest and respectfully told them . Biaggi's Owner - If you honestly believe that this is how customers should be treated, and you use any holiday for an excuse for your poor service, shame on you.
A simple apology from Kristen was all that would have been required to make this bad experience better, but she didn't. Zach the server, he was snarky with me too, when I asked his name. If this place clearly believes in retaining service staff that have zero respect for its customers. I will pass. Thank you Biaggi's for making my experience the WORST of any dining experience of...
Read moreMy husband and I came on Sunday, after Valentines. We were told it would be a 20 min wait, we waited for 40 mins We sat down and waited another 10 mins before we were given water. We were told by that guy that he wasn’t our server and he was just bringing us the water and bread. We waited another 10 mins for our server to come and ask for our drink order. we chose to just have water at that time and ordered the mushrooms as an appetizer. about 5 mins later we flagged our server down and asked if we could order a salad. then it took him another 10 for him to come back to take our dinner order. My husband ordered the braised ribs ravioli and I ordered the Chicken Picatta. we sat and waited 45 mins for our main food to arrive. about 10 mins before our food was brought out, the server told us that he saw “them” warming up our plates…..i didn’t even understand what he meant by that other then thinking that they had to microwave our food…? Well i think i was right because the food that was brought to us was not even warm…my chicken looked and tasted like rubbery canned chicken that had been microwaved and my husbands was barely warm and the ravioli was chewy like it wasn’t cooked all the way. the meat in the ravioli tasted like it had been sitting a fridge open overnight. the server took 15 mins to come check on us after we got our main dishes and he didn’t even ask how it was, he only asked if we needed to go boxes…. my husband complained about the food and the server asked what we wanted to do about it. i looked at him with disbelief and i said we weren’t eating it and to take it off our bill. Not once did the server apologize, nor offer anything for compensation or how he could make it up us. we got there at 5:45 and left at 8:05 still hungry! Also, the bottom of the olive oil bottle looked like nasty dirt was stuck on the bottom. i posted photos. We will never be back. Horrible food!...
