I don't know, maybe it's different in different cities? I have been to many different Jersey Mike's and I came away wondering how this place will stay in business. If I order through the app and pre-pay for my food, that should be one of the easiest and most simple sales to deal with. You literally have about 30 minutes to make the food and then just have to hand a bag to a customer when they come in. Instead, I walk in and literally almost every single employee in the store sees me standing there and acts like I don't know how a Jersey Mike's operates. I'm not dumb. I'm not walking up to the register to place my order. I just want to pick up my subs and be on my way, but my bag is 8 ft away on a back counter. I need, you, the employee to hand me said bag. How hard is it to hand a bag to a customer? It was pre-paid! Also, quick side note. There was only one other customer getting their sandwich made at the time I picked up my order. It was not at all busy.
Edit: I feel justified in my review and now that I have seen a significant drop off in their business. Also, as a side note to the management, I would take a look at what your corporate office is doing and try to flex off of their advertising. Your corporate office heavily invested into advertising in professional Esports. You however did not capitalize on the gaming, anime, or Esports crowd locally. Doing simple things like having a small TV with events that your national advertising dollars are going towards playing in the dining room would probably go a long way. I guess, only time will tell if your methods are fundamentally sound. My methods will go completely unchecked and leave me as nothing more than an uninvested backseat driver. For...
Read moreWhen I went to pick up an order for someone tonight an employee told me to move my car out of the handicap spot. It was not only raining and the parking lot completely empty, but my car tags were not visible due to the rain and reflection of headlights. If it were any of this employees business where I parked (which it was not) he couldn't even have a clue if I am disabled/handicapped because my car tags were not visible from inside the store. Not only were they not visible, my front bumper is missing so the tag isnt even there if he could see it! He had 1 job and that's to work as an employee of Jersey Mike's. He had zero right to look at me, and judge me based off my looks and decide to pick on me. Because let's be real, that's all this was. After he told me to move my car, my jaw dropped. I said to him, "how do you know if I'm handicapped or not" and his reply was, (while laughing) "but are you though?"
For the record I weigh 400 pounds and have multiple disorders which make walking difficult for me including small fiber neuropathy, POTS, CIRS, issues with balance, hypertension, just to name a few.
I was shocked! I'd been ill all day and at that moment I was so shaky and weak I could barely stand and surely couldn't argue or fight. I simply just walked out in disbelief.
Im pretty sure this is...
Read moreI went in yesterday and basically the female employee that was very pale and pasty with short black greasy hair pulled in a ponytail was rude to me. I asked for the rest of my order and she cut me off pointing to an item she handed me saying “it’s right there” before rushing off. I said actually I’m waiting on _. To which she turned around and rushed back with a sprinkle of lettuce and a few tomatoes. No onions or Seasoning. She then ignored me as I waited at the counter and told a different employee she gave it to me already on the sand which. I checked the sand which and neither was on it. When I went back in for onion and seasoning, I had to stand in line again. I received half of a whole onion and 4 tablespoons of seasoning. Just rude. I thanked them and they ignored me. The other customers were not treated the same way I was. Poor customer service, poopy attitudes. You don’t get to be rude to customers just because you live in a small town. I will be calling corporate and telling them about my...
