Delicious. I went here in a Friday at 1pm for all you can eat sushi (and other food). This isn't buffet style where you walk up and serve yourself. They give you some sheets of paper with a list of all the items on there where you can mark the ones you want. The service was quick, but there was just one of me (about 5 minutes for each serving). The miso soup was mediocre, but who shows up for that? The sushi was rolled tight and tasted good, especially considering it's all you can eat. They didn't limit much if at all. I would definitely recommend this if you were craving sushi and you had a big appetite. One caveat (but a reasonable one) if you order too much and have excess left over, they charge you %25 extra. A lunch was $17-well priced for all you can eat.

This was such a pleasant surprise. Did not have lunch plans and had planned to stop at Beans coffee bar***. Pulled in to the parking lot and was super intrigued. All you can eat lunch, a little spendy at over $19, and you have to pay extra for take home. But they make all your meal fresh and bring it to you in what seems to be a 14 course meal. Everything was hot and fresh that was suppose to be. It was an extra charge to have a hot tea. But everything was delicious from the salad, sushi, appetizers, tempura, and soba noodles. In the end I was not very hungry, but the waiter brought me just a half of the curry, with no rice. And green tea ice cream for dessert. I will definitely try again and maybe bring a group as you can taste more of the flavors then.

Izumi Sushi Buffet – A Surprising Hit Walked in with low expectations. You hear “sushi buffet” and think soggy rice, dry fish, and sad soy sauce. But Izumi flips the script. The quality? Surprisingly solid. The fish was fresh, the rice perfectly seasoned, and presentation clean. Standouts included the buttery hamachi, rich unagi, bright maguro, and tender squid all plated like you paid double for it. The selection? Better than expected. Not just the basics. They rotate premium cuts, and nothing sat out too long. Impressive for a buffet. Service? Spot on. Fast, friendly, and attentive without hovering. Verdict? Not just “good for a buffet.” It’s just good. Period. Would recommend and return.

Disappointing experience. It was our first time and we came down from GF, have worked in restaurants so are super patient and forgiving about business on a holiday. We had an 85$ order for 2 AYCE plus 2 cocktails and still tipped our server 30$ because he was hustling and it wasn’t his fault, but there’s room for improvements. -We made reservations at 6 and the line was out the door for both walkins and to-go orders. You have to nearly beat people out of the way to insist you have a reservation, but that’s not the restaurants fault. They could have started turning people away though once they were 20 people deep out the door. It made the entryway nearly impossible to use. -the first cocktails we ordered were served in very dirty glasses, one of which had a hair in it, and both had food all over the bottom. Our server remade them but just rinsed the top out, so we were served the dirty bottom glasses again. We didn’t have them remade that time because at least the inside of the glass was clean, but a little off putting. -they missed two appetizers off two separate orders. We just never got them. -the rolls are much smaller than full size, so we “ordered patiently” like it says on the menu to not waste food, and it took 1.5 hours to get 8 very small rolls over two orders (4 rolls each order) for the two of us to share. Each piece was less than an inch in size. We understand sushi rolling is a complicated technique and takes time, but highly recommend just ordering everything you want on your first order so you don’t have this issue. Ordering multiple times isn’t the way to go. -we were asked twice during the second order wait for the food if we were done and wanted the check. We felt rushed after 45 mins, even though we were still waiting to eat and to-go orders were being prioritized. We weren’t lingering chatting with each other, we just wanted our food and as soon as we finished, we left. All the while, a line of people in the entry waiting for your table staring at you while you eat and tapping their foot. -our drink menu was taken away 30 mins in for another guest, so even if we wanted to order more, we couldn’t have unless we memorized it.

That said, the rolls were tasty, but the whole experience was a real drag for a Valentine’s Day date. There’s a lot that could have been done to improve logistics and decrease the stress on servers/chef staff. The bussers were hustling and very polite. I appreciate their anti-waste rules and our server himself was pleasant. It just wasn’t a good time for all of the reasons above sadly. Maybe on a day that isn’t a holiday. But never coming back on a...

After a long day of hockey, during the Squirts internationals, my family (husband, our 4 kids, mother inlaw and myself) were dying for our favorite restaurant in town. The food- spot on, it was great even though we missed the cutoff of "all you can eat sushi". Our server- she did a good job. She was accommodating and was hearing us out when we had an issue or questions. We came in later than we usually would, beings they close at 10:30 (we arrived at 9:32), so we were expecting to rush a bit so we didn't hold anyone up too much. But WOW, this was the absolute most disappointing dining experience we've experienced in quite some time. We understand that cleaning must be done, and maybe even light cleaning while someone is dining after closing time but pressure washing NEXT TO our food, leaving spilt drinks on the floor to soak my kids shoes, moving booths so loud we couldn't hear each other talking, then also pressure washing the floors with whatever bleachy chemical mix right next to our table (now soaking shoes with that lovely smelling mixture).. now that's just ridiculous. The smell of bleach was so strong that my kids couldn't continue to eat, but don't worry- the back door was open, maybe to air it out?.. well it didn't, it only froze my kids and had me eating with mittens on. The toilet wasn't bolted to the ground, almost injuring my mother inlaw. As we were finishing boxing up our food I was nearly hit with the chairs they were putting up right behind me and was being bumped into while trying to double check our table and also picking up as I still didn't want to leave a mess, regardless of the way they were treating us. To top it off, my 4 year.old son fell on the shopping wet floor while he was walking out, leaving him SOAKING and limping as we prepared to walk out into the -5 (feels like -16) degree weather. I finally had enough and spoke up for the first time all evening at this establishment, expressing my disappointment now that my son fell and was hurt, only to have the man at the front desk justify these actions. Yes, we got there later than our usual but I'd think a $300+ ticket before tip would make up for the 13 extra minutes we were there. Overall, was completely unprofessional- a Google review will not be the only way we will handle this...

This place has the rudest customer service of anywhere I have ever been. We went there with a party of 7 adults. We were seated. They never explained the menu to us or how to order. Luckily somebody in our party knew how to order. We ordered lightly on the appetizers. The table also ordered a round of drinks. While we figured out how to order off the rest of the menu we ordered the hibachi and sushi. We ordered too much sushi! I understand that as first time patrons she could have told us to try a few rolls and they would bring the rest out as we went along. She did not. That was our fault. Our drinks were spent empty most of the meal. We had to call her over multiple times to ask for sauces for the sushi and our hibachi. When the food was brought to our table she was pulled back to explain what food was which ( so we knew who ordered what) you would think that would just be courtesy. At the end of our meal she stated we wasted sushi (we still had about 2-3 rolls worth.) It states on the menu if you waste you will be charged half the cost. COST. They don't list prices on any of there stuff so she stated it would be $60 for 3 rolls (which she talked to the manager and got it lowered to $20.) She then told us she was adding a gratuity because of our large party. Since when is 7 people a large party. They never stated a gratuity would be added before the reservation or during the meal. There are no prices on the menu so they can feel they can charge you whatever they want for their food "wasted." The service was awful and we STILL had to pay $50 to her as a tip which I am positive she added the gratuity at the end because she knew her service was awful after they added the "wasteful" charge. It is not 26.95 all you can eat. Our party spent over $300 without even a thank you for coming in and adding all those charges. I work in customer service and I am really disappointed and down right angry for how we were treated. I will never return and plan on telling everyone I know not...
