Extremely rude lady from the kitchen. Some of the staff members apparently think that if a customer is a delivery person, they can be treated like rubbish. That it's ok for the staff to raise voice at them, and accusing a customer of their own(staff) mistakes.

Responding to your threats:

My review is 100% true. I spoke to Uber and will go to the support office to share your threats regarding my employment you've just made. This is a Review section. I have a right to share my experience with your business. Your restaurant made a complaint to Uber, affecting my customer satisfaction rating. For the mistake of your staff member. Why do you think I can't rate your professionalism? If you continue threatening me I will do everything necessary in accordance with the law for an adequate response, protecting my rights and employment. As you said, let's be adults.

Response 2:

I am responsible for my review only. I did not write any other reviews here. Only this one here and one on Yelp.

As I noticed after your latest addition to this review response, you copied your response with threats to multiple other 1 star reviews, even though some of them were posted weeks before the incident occurred. I can't travel in time (I wish I could, to avoid that situation).

Your staff member was the first(!) to raise the voice. Of course I was not expecting to find myself in the situation where a restaurant employee made a mistake and then tried to make me responsible for that with raised voice and accusing tone. I came to grab a package for a customer, not to be treated as I was. And not to tolerate...

It seems like I had a similar experience to many others here: bland pho. Like zero flavor bland. Based on the restaurant's responses, they must be constantly training new kitchen staff and not tasting the results before things go out 'cause that seems to be their go-to reply.

A friend who swears by the place because he can get gluten-free spring rolls talked me into giving it another try and the bahn mi was pretty decent (hence 3 stars instead of 1), but if you put "pho" in your name, you can't screw it up that badly (and based on the reviews, so frequently) and get me to try it again when there are so many other, better, kitchens around.

[EDIT] Based on the owner's response, I gave it another shot last night and, while I can't say it's bland anymore, I also can't say that my rating has changed. The first time I tried it (a year or so ago) it seemed like they maybe forgot the salt completely. This time, it tasted like that was the only seasoning in the kitchen. That does indeed make for a flavorful broth, but the only two flavors I discerned were beef and salt: no anise, no other aromatics, just salt. Fortunately, the beef is of high quality so there was something to work with, but the deeper I got into the bowl, the more the salt took over and I ended up leaving half a bowl of broth, something I never do.

If friends invite me here in the future, I'll definitely stick to the banh mi, which was pretty solid, or try out the pizza, which smelled great last night, but the pho is just a...

I discovered this place by ordering for delivery first. I had been frequently ordering from another pho place near me but decided randomly one day to try a new place out. The one I was getting food from is very very good….but Phorage even blew it out of the water. Any of their beef pho is INCREDIBLE. The serving sizes are enough for leftovers (I’m petite and definitely can make 2 full meals out of one and for hungry men they will most likely even have a small bit left over for a snack the next day). The broth is the most flavourful I’ve had in years. Very deep full rounded flavour. I’m so in love with them that I haven’t tried any of the other meat offerings. Another thing that stands out head and shoulders above many of the local restaurants is the customer service and staff. They genuinely love their jobs and the food, are fully knowledgeable and are so happy to share the stories and details of the founder and their recipe development. They treat you like close friends or family, which is so very heartwarming. I can’t recommend this place enough and I am always bringing my friends. They are also gluten free friendly, which is so wonderful being that I have celiac disease. Needless to say this is the only pho place I eat at now. Thank you to everyone for their kindness and...

Waited for over an hour for food. Only two other parties were dining there. Chef tells us it was a problem with the WiFi. Not sure how that makes sense. They comped 15% and two drinks which was insulting given how patient we were and how long we waited. Food was not authentic nor good. Drink menu was fun and interesting but tried the pho mojito and tasted just like any other mojito. Not in a rush to come back especially with that kind of customer service. Such a shame as I was hoping there would be a reliable vietnamese spot near me. EDIT: In response to the reply, our table was left waiting for 45 minutes after we placed our orders with no one checking in on us. We were pretty much the only party at the time so regardless if the WiFi was down, we were confused as to why didn't anyone think to just verbally communicate to the kitchen what our orders were? The second round of drinks were offered for what we thought was complimentary, which we would not have gotten if we weren't waiting for so long. To offer a 15% discount for a 2 hour waste of time is just not very understanding or deserving of a return visit. Take ownership of a poor guest experience and improve rather than speak as if you did us a favor by saving us 40-50 bucks when our time is worth so much more.

My review is for their Detroit Pizza style menu. It is a bit strange to see one kitchen offering two very different menus but they really make it work. I have not had a Detroit style pizza before and this one was a fantastic first time experience. The dough was thick but also quite light and fluffy. The edges were nice and crispy. Combined it makes for a tasty treat. The wings are Asian inspired because I detected some soy flavor but I forgot to ask what else goes into them. Overall, quite happy to give this a try and while you'd think two very different menus in one kitchen would be a red flag, it most certainly is not the case here. I'll come back to try the pho and I suspect it is just as good as their Detroit Pizza.

Came on a late Sunday, probably like an hour ish before they close. The decor/atmosphere was modern. Our waiter seemed to be the chef as he was wearing chef clothes. We ordered the roti and a couple pho bowls. Unfortunately, none of the food had any soul and flavor to it. It was very bland. The only good thing was the portion was huge, but it did not make up for the fact that it lacked flavor a lot. Maybe they were close to closing time so the broth was lifeless (?) Anyway, we can't recommend coming here for their food. Maybe for the atmosphere, hanging out at the bar area.
